Disappointing Experience
My experience with Volvo Grantham following the purchase of a new Volvo EX30 has been deeply disappointing and has significantly undermined my confidence in the dealership. Shortly after delivery, the vehicle developed multiple issues, including unresolved faults that materially affected its usability and enjoyment. I made repeated efforts to engage constructively with the dealership and allowed ample opportunity for the problems to be diagnosed and resolved. Despite this, the vehicle remained unreliable and fell well short of the standard I would expect when purchasing a new car from a main dealer. The most frustrating aspect was not simply the presence of faults, but the way the situation was handled at dealership level. Communication was slow and inconsistent, and at times felt dismissive. There was a lack of clear ownership of the issue, and I was left to repeatedly chase for updates rather than being proactively supported. This unnecessarily prolonged an already stressful experience. Ultimately, I was left with no option but to formally reject the vehicle. While the rejection was eventually accepted, the process was far more drawn out and adversarial than it should have been. For a dealership representing a premium brand that places emphasis on trust, safety, and customer care, this fell well below reasonable expectations. The EX30 is an appealing vehicle in principle, but my experience suggests that the dealership was not adequately equipped to manage the issues that arose or to support the customer effectively when things went wrong. I do not share this review lightly. It is an honest reflection of my experience, and regrettably it has left me reluctant to return to this dealership or recommend it to others.
