Farnham. Our van broked down just after 6 months. The engine seized . We were not provided with any service history on purchase, and checked online on the Mot register, that the van had previously done 20k miles the year before we purchased it, which is quite a lot. Without a proper service after that this van could potentially give us problems. We trusted the dealer. We called when the engine seized last week to get help with a garage to fix it, they didn’t help with that. We had to rent a van to be able to work, and this van is sitting in a garage waiting for final diagnosis and quotes on a new engine. This wasn’t properly serviced before selling. A van bought 6 months ago shouldn’t need a new engine. We will proceed with a claim with an ombudsman. This is the first time it happened to us, we believe this van has not been serviced and has done 20k miles just from 2024/25 before we purchased it. We are just waiting for the garage to give us a full diagnosis. Avoid! Very disappointing with Chris, only helpful to purchase!
