Terrible after sales service

Just amazed at how poor the after sales service is here. We bought a Sportage in December 2025 and there's some problem with the engine leading to terrible fuel consumption. No interest at all in our consumer rights or anything resembling customer service. Just offered us £20,700 for it when we paid £22,720! Only 1 month ago. Much better off going to a small car dealer where they have some customer service.
