I would not choose to use this dealershi

I purchased a used Lexus from this dealership for £24,000. My concerns relate to the condition of the vehicle at handover, the information provided by staff, and the standard of after-sales support. After returning home, I discovered that the vehicle was missing a parcel shelf. I contacted the dealership immediately and was advised by a member of staff that they would attempt to locate the missing item and, if unsuccessful, would arrange a replacement. Two days later, I was informed that the parcel shelf would not be provided, on the basis that it did not come with the vehicle. I subsequently raised this issue with the manager, who stated that because the vehicle was used, the dealership was not obliged to supply the parcel shelf. This position conflicted with the earlier assurance given by another member of staff. The vehicle was also handed over without a radio security code. I was instructed to attend a Lexus dealership myself to resolve this matter, which Lexus subsequently did. This issue was not addressed by the selling dealer prior to handover. Furthermore, the vehicle failed to start the following day, requiring assistance from the AA. Experiencing a breakdown within 24 hours of purchase raised concerns regarding the checks and preparation carried out before the vehicle was sold. Following completion of the sale, I found the level of assistance provided to be limited, with outstanding issues not actively supported by the dealership. Given the purchase price, I consider that the overall standard of service and vehicle preparation did not meet what a customer would reasonably expect. Based on my experience, I would not choose to use this dealership again.
