Aftersales backup non existent. Purchased a brand new Royal Enfield interceptor 650 from Newcoms in 2022. 3rd gear went missing ( known issue on 2022 manufacturing run. This was 2 weeks before my 3 year warranty was expired. Phoned Newcoms and "Pete" assured me that I was logged for a warranty claim. But a long wait for gearbox parts. Six months, and several phone calls, two unanswered emails. I ordered the gearbox parts direct from India, and they arrived within two weeks. I'll remove the engine and rebuild the gearbox myself, even though the failure occurred within the warranty promised by the seller.
