Worst car buying experience of my life
I had a very disappointing experience purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. I bought an X-Trail on 18th February, which shortly afterwards developed multiple faults, including water ingress, electrical issues, and problems with the immobiliser. I returned the vehicle for repairs; however, the issues did not appear to have been properly resolved despite being advised that the work had been completed. I had to repeatedly follow up to obtain updates and arrange further repairs, as I depend on a vehicle for daily use. The courtesy car provided raised additional concerns. During my use, I observed dashboard warning lights (including engine management and tyre pressure), low washer fluid, minimal fuel, and debris inside the vehicle, including broken glass in the rear and used ear buds. In my view, this did not meet reasonable standards for a replacement vehicle. After a second attempt at repairs, I was again advised that the issues had been addressed, but was also informed that the vehicle would need to be retained for an additional week. At this stage, I chose to reject the vehicle. Following this, there was a delay in resolving the finance agreement, which left me without a car for a period of time. I was also concerned to see the vehicle made available for sale again before my case had been fully concluded. Overall, I found the experience time-consuming and unsatisfactory. I believe there are clear areas for improvement in vehicle preparation, quality of repairs, and communication with customers.
