Deposit Not Refunded After Viewing

I paid Simon a £100 deposit to view a car after discussing the vehicle with the dealer beforehand. I was advised that the deposit would be refunded if I chose not to proceed with the purchase. After making a four-hour round trip to view the car, I found the vehicle was not in the condition I personally expected based on the advert and our conversations prior to travelling. I decided not to proceed with the purchase and requested the return of my deposit several times, still not received. I would recommend that anyone considering travelling to view a vehicle asks for detailed photos/videos and confirms all deposit terms in writing before making a journey. Disappointing experience overall.
