XC40 Motability Car

All was fine for the first 6 months or so of having the car until an update of the Infotainment screen was scheduled and when I got in the car it refused to connect to Wifi, bluetooth, satnav, and every ten minutes or so the screen would blackout completely. Reported to the dealership and they told me they would only be able to get me a courtesy car if I waited a few weeks to book it in. The car is due in next week to be sorted. UNTIL last night a message popped up on the screen saying another update was scheduled and did I want to go ahead with it. Thinking well, it could solve the issue I went ahead and scheduled the update...not a good idea...got into the car this morning and apart from the speed and odometer nothing seems to work screenwise all is blank and I feel like giving up. I would not touch another Volvo and the dealership tried to fix it once and couldn't so the leave me with no confidence. We will see what happens when I finally get through to them.
