Nightmare!
Bought a car from Lidingo Cars in Feb 2017. Drove the car 70 miles home and discovered the air con didn't work, the wheels seriously needed balancing and the rear window wouldn't close properly. Contacted them and they told me to get an estimate for the repairs and a diagnostic of what was wrong with the window (it could have been loads of different issues)Cost us £160 to get this done and provided them with a vehicle report. They refused to pay for the repairs saying "it's too much" and told me they would only refund me if I took it back within a few days (they aren't local to me). I was already out of pocket as I'd paid to get the vehicle report plus I had part exchanged my vehicle which had then been sold so I was not in a position to give the car back (and it's my right to require them to repair the car). Had to go through a 3rd party (the AA) to mediate with them. In the end, I had to threaten court action to get it repaired. I agreed to take the car to them for them to "look at" and agreed in writing they could have it for 24 hours. They kept the car for 9 days, ignored my calls and emails, they weren't clear when I asked them what they were doing with my car and I almost reported it stolen as I couldn't get to the bottom of what they were doing with my car, where it was or when I could have it back. In the end (and without them telling me exactly what they were doing) they repaired the car. The service really wasn't great and they don't know consumer rights as they repeatedly tried to breach mine. I haven't been refunded for the cost of the vehicle diagnostic that they asked for..... Avoid Lidingo Cars if you value your blood pressure!
