Get A Second Opinion

Having had to use their repair department in emergency circumstances they carried out an assessment using digital diagnostic tools and carried out repairs on this basis. Two days later the car suffered the same faults and I had two seperate mechanics advise the work undertaken were uneccessary and the fault lay in a completely different system to that which the repairs were applied. This cost me in the region of £500 whereas the final repair cost me in the region of £100 parts and labour. I used a Ford specialist as I had a Ford and expected them to fix this with experience and knowledge of the vehicle. The fault repaired was a known fault in the industry and vehicle... like I said.. lesson learned ...
