Everyone please avoid 150 Cars or it will cost you hundreds of pound more, I paid 4000 for a car which after less than a 1000 miles the head gasket went but according to the rude obnoxious owner it was the way I was driving it, they supposing fixed it.... No they had it bodged. Every week some thing went wrong with it and it ended up costing me more money and a lot of stress. This man should not be trading!!!
phoned them to enquire about a car. I naively allowed them to take a reservation fee of £250 to reserve car for viewing. I was assured that if I did not want the car, then they would fully refund the reservation fee. They did not tell me at the time that I had to actually physically view the car first before I could claim back my money if I decided not to buy .I live about 90 miles away from this dealership and when I decided not to view the car they refused to reimburse my deposit. This is clearly one of their money making scams and anyone considering a purchase from them should be mindful of how devious and misleading they can be
Only pressing one star because it seems it is the only way to get this form through...there should be a MINUS star system. On the 11th of March 2015 the vehicle in question, a Volkswagen Scirocco, was purchased by daughter Miss Kate Ellis. Cost £7.500, part cash-part from (150cars.com.with the MotorNovo) finance. From the outset there were problems, as recorded by my daughters review, under the name of Katherine, on the 150cars.com website. She had saved up for some considerable time and as a single mother who really depends and needs a car, both to take her son to school, and herself to work, These issues with the car - the engine missing a part finally established after eighteen months (when out of warranty), lights coming on and so on and so on .... very distressing and 150cars.com had what you could call a very ‘cavalier’ attitude, to put it mildly. She had only had the car a short while when lights kept coming on and it was never sorted properly. They were charming before the sale but not so afterwards. One bill we had to pay paid to a reputable and independent garage was to the tune of £2.000. This was just the tip of the iceberg - as my daughter refers to within her comprehensive review. Initially I persuaded her to write a good review, in an attempt to win them over, that made absolute no difference and is embarrassing to say the least. Many different sums of money have been paid out and we found it to be cheaper to sell it than plod in with the ongoing issues, not resolved ever, by 150cars.com. It was sold for £2.000, just remember it cost £7.500 to start with, (in 2015) more than £2.000 + after purchase and only managed to get £2.000 by selling it!! You do the Maths. We will be seeking legal advice when all the data has been collated. We actually thought it was a family run company with principles. Just read the other reviews, if you also take valuable time to read them, you will be able to capture the true nature as to how they operate. Doubt if you would purchase a car thereafter. The ‘MotorNovo’ finance was paid with very quickly. I cannot record all the “ins and outs” within a public forum. However, the relevant details will be being reviewed by a member of the legal profession shortly. I only wish we had reviewed the reviews as it were, we would never had purchased a car from this company (also known by another name I believe) If you are representing an objective organisation I respectfully ask you to read the other reviews, which shed some light on my viewpoint. Sincerely, Helen Drury (Mrs)

150 Cars, also known as English Leasing. WARNING! Do not purchase a car from here. I purchased a vehicle from 150 Cars Leicester at the end of February; I owned the car for 7 days, 6 days of which the vehicle was in a garage for investigation into various mechanical faults. I had a main Vauxhall dealership (Evans Halshaw) master technician carry out a full vehicle health check which highlighted some serious faults, including engine mount, gearbox mount, suspension top arms req. replacing, excessive play in the steering rack, turbo actuator sticking causing the vehicle to go into limp mode at high speeds on the motorway - to name a few! So I returned the vehicle with the report and after quoting the new Consumer Rights Act 2015, managed to get a refund. I had taxed this vehicle for 12 months, costing me £180. When I asked how I go about obtaining a refund, I was told to simply write a letter to DVLA - I work in the motor industry and I can tell you now that THEY LIED! The only way to get a refund is to have the vehicle registered in your name. The Manager Rob told me that they had "managed to capture the V5" before it was sent to DVLA (which basically means they never bothered sending it, when it is a legal requirement to enable the V5 to be issued under my name!) Upon speaking to my contact at the DVLA, they told me the dealer was wrong and that I will now have to pay £25 and complete a V62 application form just to get my refund. So I called the dealer asking if they could send the new keeper supplement (which would mean I wouldn't have to pay the £25) but can you believe, THEY'VE SOLD THE CAR ON!! So some poor unsuspecting fool is now driving around in a vehicle with serious defects on the road tax that I paid for!!! The Manager Rob proceeded to tell me that I have a foul mouth, amongst other profanities aimed at me and even called me back to tell me what he thought of me after I ended the call (Nice! What a gentleman!) My wish is for everyone out there to share this, particularly anyone in Leicester, to ensure that they don't screw anyone else over. Whilst there, I saw young families viewing cars - these cars are unsafe and I want to warn everyone against doing any kind of deal with them. Keep your family safe, do not purchase a car from these 'people'

I had to use public transport to pick up my new car. 150car.Com sent someone to pick me up at the station and then took me to the dealership.
