Bought a new motor home from 3A Caravans in May picked it up drove a mile and half up the road and broke down, after kicking up a fuss they gave us another brand new one (so they said) although it was already registered to someone else even though it had not left the showroom ( didn’t ring true to me) anyway had nothing but trouble with things falling apart. After two months took it back and part ex’d It for a two year old better van thinking teething problems would be sorted. Yes it is a lovely motorhome but find a lot of sites won’t let us on because it’s over the 7.5 mtrs, so decided to part ex this one for a 7.5 mtr one. On checking find we haven’t had log book. Phoned the dvla and it’s still registered to the previous owner with the tax in his name, so we have been riding all around the country in a van that is not registered to us, driving on someone elses tax which then makes our insurance invalid! Phoned 3as Carmarthen and was told they had copy of recorded delivery slip saying it had been sent to Dvla, they said they hadspoke to them and it was all registered and waiting to be printed off, but it was ok for us to drive. I rang dvla again, they said definitely no record of any paperwork. So rang 3as again. They said Ann was on the phone anD would ring me back, no phone call so phoned again, was told she was still on the phone. I then told them the6 we’re lying anD if they had the log book I would have it back as I know someone working in dvla and could get it registered in three days and would rather they be honest with me. Also they charged me £255. Tax dvla told me tax is £165. Ten mins later I get a call from Ann to say looked at system again and been misunderstanding, the log book was still with previous owner and they would pick it up and deliver it to my home that night with a cheque for the tax of £255. Yes they did deliver it at 7.30 pm even though it wasn’t signed by previous owner, and also gave us a bottle of wine as apology! My concern is how many people are driving around illegally because of this company. Went to another dealer and they said they had a chap in who was driving around for a year after buying through 3as and they hadnt registered his either, plus our previous owner has now been done out of three months refund of tax. I would urge you all to check to make sure you have all your documents. Whilst driving to Crickhowell a white van man came around a bend on our side of the road anD took our wing mirror off, very frightening! Luckily for us now, he didn’t stop, because if he had I would have phoned the police. They would have then seized the van and we would have been done for no tax no insurance and basically not our van. 3A Caravans are very good at selling but that’s all.
Stephen at 3A Caravans was super helpful when we called in for spare parts for the water pump for our camper.
We've bought caravans with 3As for over 10 years and have always found Mr Lyn Evans to be a "proper gent". He is always concerned that the customer is properly treated, If there are problems we have always found him extremely helpful in sorting them. Similarly, we have always found Catherine and Laura in warranty to be nothing short of excellent. Stephen in the shop is most efficient and helpful. Since Stephen has been in charge of the shop we have noticed a far more comprehensive range of items on sale. All too often a dealer is blamed for a manufacturer's "tardiness" in supplying parts - under warranty or otherwise. When there is no progress in the supply of parts there can be nothing the dealer can say that will satisfy an unhappy customer! Comments attributed to the "rudeness of the director" cannot possibly be eluding to Mr Lyn Evans - who has always been a proper gentleman to us, even when we have experienced problems and delays. My wife and I wish them every success with their move to larger premises.

At this moment in time the water Pump has packed in told not to take the motorhome down has they are very busy even though its still under warranty, They we would ring me back and talk me through procedure. I Have solved the problem myself Pump has packed in Ordered a new one. will send the invoice on to them. Still waiting for the Call Back as have on every occasion. There sales is good But the aftercare and warranty is absolute rubbish, Customer service does not exist.
Bought a brand new van in 2017 and for the first four month's had nothing but problems with the van and 3A's .After them collecting the van from me to do the said repairs I was contacted 3 weeks later to say that the van was ready for collection, so drive 200 miles to collect caravan and stayed on nearby site for weekend to make sure that everything was working to find that a lot of the work had not been done. On the Monday morning took the caravan back to them and waited nearly two hours to speak to the Director and ask for my money back which was refused. He asked me to wait another 30 minutes whilst they rectified all the faults that had not been done. This I refused to do and with my wife got back into my car and drove the 200 miles home. The following week I then had several conversations with the salesman who sold the caravan to us as it appeared the Sales Director would no longer speak to me. The way I was spoken to was as if I did not know what I was talking about although I have been caravanning for thirty years. Approximately 3 week's later I get a phone call out of the blue saying the caravan was ready for collection. I stated that I would not be able to collect it for at least a week . I was told I had to get it off their site as it was in the way and as it was now in their main compound it was not covered by their insurance. It was agreed after much discussion that they would deliver the caravan back to me. Within half an hour I received a further abrupt and rude phone call from the top Director saying it had got to be collected basically yesterday as it was in the way . I referred him back to his salesman and suggested in future he liased with his staff instead of making abrupt and rude phone calls to customers. The caravan was eventually delivered back to me by low loader in immaculate and clean condition with everything rectified. This is only half the story. Please do not buy from this company . Suggest that owners and salesman go on a customer relations course.

Purchased three caravans from this company and am pleased with all purchases. Speak as you find.
Bought Swift from this company they undercut every other dealer but if you need to make a warranty claim don't expect them to ring you back or respond to e mails. They would rather you disappear.
Wouldn't recommend 3A's Caravans to my worst enemy. Took our brand new van in for warranty work 6 weeks ago and the work should have taken a week. Even provided them with photos and details of works to be done. Received a phone call 3 weeks later to say van was ready. Drove 100+ mile round trip to collect and we booked a break for the following weekend. When we arrived to collect the van, we were horrified to see that not only had the works not been completed but our van had also been hit on the back end. Our van was now in a worse state than when it had gone in. We again handed them another copy of our list and were shocked that the workshop hadn't been given a copy of the 4 copies we'd already sent both by email and recorded delivery. We had to cancel our trip away. A formal complaint was raised and a request for the director to contact us with an offer of recompense for our travel, time and inconvenience. We were informed by Laura that the director was at the NEC but would contact us on his return. That was 2 weeks ago and heard nothing since. Went to collect van today - nobody there to offer us a handover. Just given the keys to go on our way. Voiced our disgust at such appalling treatment and not even an apology from the lady in the office. Never ever use 3A's again. They take your money and don't give a damn. They can't even be bothered returning phone calls or responding to emails half of the time. Customer service is shocking and by far the worst I've ever seen. I'm shocked that they're still in business. Anyone looking at using this company, do yourself a favour and go to a more respectable dealer who have a conscience. I'm off to take legal advice and report my concerns to the consumer watchdog.
