I really wish we had read the reviews on this page before buying what is basically scrap metal from these people We only had the car for 12 days and the clutch went. We took it back and they did repair it - although I would have rather had my money back ( not an option apparently- despite the 30 warranty and my consumer rights) After a few days we picked the lump of metal up and drove it down the road where the gear box went and breaks were very noisy! This all happened on the M1 - very scary! I called to tell them we couldn’t afford another tow tuck and they needed to come and get it and return my money! We ended up in a shouting match - the manager was very rude!!! God what a stressful experience! He didn’t back down and we are now left with a very dangerous car! These people do not sell reliable cars and fail to understand the meaning of consumer rights! I have sought advice from trading standards! Don’t go near this garage unless you fancy chucking your money away!! Disgusting!!!! I wish I didn’t have to even give a star!!!

I'm afraid I cannot recommend this garage one bit. We put a deposit down on a car which we were ready to drive away, but because of a rusted exhaust the man in question said they would replace the exhaust as part of the deal the next day, and then we could collect it. I phoned the next day as asked, and was told the car was ready. However the next day when we arrived and looked at the exhaust, it hadn't been changed! They weren't going to mention it, it's only because we checked. Then they said they would do it that afternoon, if we waited several hours, however we'd already travelled an hour to get there (twice) and had plans that afternoon. So we asked for money off to fix the car ourselves. The guy said he couldn't do that and that his boss had suddenly gone to Pakistan. So we asked to speak to him on the phone to negotiate a deal. He then was rude and aggressive on the phone and said he was on holiday and that he wouldn't even sell us the car if we wouldn't pay the full price! He wouldn't even apologise for them not getting the work done they promised. The lack of keeping promises is bad enough, but what really gets me here is the lies. If they can lie that easily, what else are they lying about? As we discussed our options in the office, two men kept talking about us in their own language, which was incredibly rude.. particularly as I'm sure they were talking about us. Check any car you buy from here VERY carefully - and don't trust a word these nasty men tell you.

A & A Reliable Cars sells people dangerous cars. I was sold a car that had the Cv boot gone on it and it was leaking oil that was going onto my brake. Took the car back to them to fix which took 2 days for them to do and then for me to take to my garage to find out they never fixed it an just put a tie cable around it.. when I went back an said about him telling me a lie and that if I was to have an accident with my son in the car it could kill us he just laughed in my face. I WILL be reporting this man to trading standards.

No one should ever get a car from A & Reliable Cars. I picked a car and left a £300 deposit and said I would collect on the Saturday. We traveled over an hour on the Saturday to collect, as we were looking round car again and said we were ready to take away they then told us they had blown the alternator whilst getting the car ready. We asked why they hadn’t called us to let us know and they said it was in case we changed our minds. He told us they would fix it and get it to us by Wednesday. On the Sunday we decided this wasn’t good enough so I called to ask for deposit back, telling him I didn’t want to wait. He refused to give me my deposit back said I had agreed to having car so I had to give them till Wednesday they were waiting for the part. I called them on the Monday for progress report, he was quite rude, said he had said he would get it done and I had to wait. I called on Wednesday morning and they told me part was in and they were waiting for mechanic. I asked if I would definitely get it and he said he didn’t know. I said I wasn’t prepared to wait any longer if I didn’t get it could I have money back. He said he would call me back. He never called but sent me a message saying I would hear if getting at 6pm if not I could have my money back. 6pm came And i never got a call. So this morning (Thursday ) I called and asked for my money back. He told me he was busy and he would do it between 3&4pm, I said I needed it before then as I wanted to go look at another car. He said he would do it when he was ready. At 3pm I called and asked and they said he was out should be back soon. At 4pm I called and they said they would call him. At 5pm I still hadn’t got my money so I called again and they said they would speak to him. 5 minutes later I get a call from him and he is shouting at me to stop calling and he would pay me back when he was ready. He said there was something wrong with my brain and I should go to hospital to get it sorted. I tried to speak but he just shouted over me then cut me off. When my husband got home I told him so he called him. When my husband spoke to him he threatened to not give us the money back. My husband told him the way he ran his business was unacceptable. He kept talking over my husband to but eventually said he would pay this evening. About an hour later I got this text message: Hi Dear Customer , I apologise for delay , you funds has been transferred , this will show into your account about 3 hours time , May God bless you a Good Health and Peaceful and Happy life ahead , sorry for everything . Bloody hell, and he said there was something wrong with my head, he had been rude to us all week and especially today then sends that message. Honestly guys, these people are untrustworthy, unprofessional, rude and aggressive. Please look elsewhere for a vehicle

Somebody should shut A &A Reliable Cars down as they are putting dangerous cars on the road because if you take a car back they give you another dangerous car this happened twice with us and if you ask for money back you get told to go away not very politely. We have been fighting for 4 months trying to get our money back so avoid going there..

This man just wants you're money, dont trust him.
The owner is Harry Wormwood from Matilda. I bought a car from A & A Reliable Cars in March, I literally drove it down the A1(m) and the car was already falling apart. The clutch went, unbelievable. I read his reviews and thought, no I’m sure the reviews are over exaggerated. I called Mr Wormwood (Yasar) and he was a very rude guy. He was very quick to take my money but told me to bring the car back and exchange it for another one. He refused to give me a full refund. Please stay away from the dealer, A & A rip-off cars is what it should be called.

After buying a car only a month go, we so dissatisfied with the customer service and out come. My dad and partner picked are family car which we told was mot till September, so they refused to re mot it after my dad asked for it to be done and found out its 20th March. The whole left side the windows don't open or close. My partner brought it home and one the lights when on way home. After asking for new tyres it was sent to the middle of Bedford for this and partner waited around. No apologies nothing so annoyed. Will never be back to A&A Reliable Cats and never will recomend. The worsed garage we been to!!!! If I could I wouldn't even give u a star. Shocking

AVOID A&A RELIABLE CARS. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND UNRELIABLE CARS! Bought a car on Sunday, as we got home the car stared to make a grinding noise! We rung the garage on Monday and they said that the brakes were seized from where the car was sat still for a while. The grinding carried on, so on Tuesday I took the car to a local garage, who confirmed that the gear box was going and advised that I should not drive the car. I rung the A&A Reliable Cars who I told I cannot drive the car as its not safe. They told me that its not there f****** problem and they cannot offer me an alternative unless I can get the car recovered at my own cost. I rung them back and agreed to bring the car back if they will repair it. I was told that the repair will take up to 5 days (local garage could have done it in 1 day). I the explained that that is too long for me to not have a car ( as they did not offer me a replacement car) I was then hung up on and will no longer answer calls.

Do you have the owner's name? I believe this business is something of a scam. Be happy to contact you. And sign of a business registration number of VAT registration number or name on any document you have would be handy to share.

I don’t suppose this was a blue focus as I took a car back there in the February as it had the same problem. Con men springs to mind
