Deceiving and unprofessional shambles. Deposit taken but then automatically cancelled the sale the following day without informing me! Sales manager Stuart Gillard had little to no knowledge on the 27k Tesla I came to view. Before viewing the Tesla, the listing had only 2 pictures and minimal description as the preparation works hadn't yet started. I was advsied prior that all bodywork scratches, dints, badly curbed wheels and big chunks missing from tyres were all due to be rectified before the sale. On the viewing the Tesla, which was in a dreadful condition, the worse condition car I've seen for bodywork and even additional faults. When identifing obvious Tesla specific issues. These were joked off and I was told to 'Keep off the Tesla forums, that look to find issues' because commonly known issues such as the daytime running lights were both faulty but because they were both faulty and symmetrical it wasnt worth doing as 'new lights might fail 6 months later anyways'. The screen had the bubble liquid leaking which would require replacing as likely to fail inimently. The rear light has condensation and additional damage. I'm aware these cost would equat to around £3500 just for the three obvious issue I found. Unable to provide any verbal or written assurance, that the faults I identified would be rectified before purchasing. Tesla wouldn't also be able to complete the repairs within the same week the car, would be ready for collection and no reduction in price to reflect these works needing to be done afterwards. Stuart was also smoking next to the Tesla I was viewing. These cosmetic issues were the only issues likely to be resolved and that's all Staurt was interested in telling us. A glorified valeter who was just happy to sell a polished car even with the indentied significant issues. Throughout the initial enquiry and in person visit, I was continually reminded how many other people had enquired on the car today. This figure even reach 30 apparent people. Although this figure was constantly changing. Prior to coming to see the car earlier that day I had paid a £500 'deposit' on the car and was advised on text message the remaining "balance to pay one day before collecting £26,500". As I came to view the car at 4pm and was nearly 5pm after the viewing. I was then pressured into signing a contract/commitment that had just been rushed and put infront of me. It was only when half way through filling out the form, which I was under the impression was relating to a part exchange quote. That it was actually a contract that was expecting another £1500 immediately to be transferred. To allow for the cosmetic body work to be completed this week. Although regardless to this additional deposit or car sale. The car required the cosmetic works completing before anyone would buy anyway. I was suprised and shocked at the immediate pressure of requiring an additional £1500 especially as this was only first mentioned at 5pm, just at closing time. I then began to rightfully have my doubts especially with no assurance to the repairs required. I asked to think about this and let him know tomorrow. The following day I received a message requesting bank details to return the deposit, only once I called regarding this, I realised that the car had now been sold. Never dealt with such an unprofessional car sales process before. Would certainly never recommend. Even for the part exchange of an Audi A7, I was offered 20% less than even the likes of Cazoo and Motorway was offering.

Biggest ripping off people I've ever bought a car of, bought a jaguar xe r sport had problem after problem first time it went back they didn't sort out any of the problems just lied saying they had sorted second time it went back same problems, got the car back same problems again took car back again for them to sort two weeks later get car back , yet again same problems took car back again to get sorted they said it's been to a jaguar technician. They brought me my car back when he passed me my car keys went to start car only to find car was still not right same problem don't buy a car from this company they low life just out to scam.

I can't fault this dealership at all. I purchased a Vauxhall Insignia from here back in August. The car was in immaculate condition and I have only had one issue with it which was resolved very quickly and easily. I would happily recommend this dealership to anyone.

I was pretty satisfied with A D Car Sales apart from a few issues that I came across. I came a long way to see the car and the dealer knew I was coming, the car was surrounded by other cars and so I couldn't test drive it when I was there. The car was also sold with a flat tyre too. To their credit when I've called up with issues they've been very helpful in sorting them out so I have no problem saying that I would recommend them.
