I can’t thank Andy for a top service , will not use another car company again

Brought a car from AG Motors and can say the service and after sales service were second to none. Highly recommend.

Do not use A G Motors, a complete waste of time the worst experience I have ever had in buying a vehicle.

Called in the week to enquire about a car they had in stock, and called again on Friday afternoon to confirm I'd be travelling down on Saturday morning for a test drive. Arrived around 10:00 Saturday morning as advised but the sales office was closed. No answer on landline or mobile despite several attempts. Hung around for half an hour but nobody showed up. Drove into Torquay. Called again at midday to be told that someone else was heading to view the car, but they weren't totally sure if this person was me or someone else; was asking if I could call them back in another hour. Wasted journey and complete waste of my time, despite thinking arrangements were in place.

I have bought close to 15 cars off ag motors . Upgraded for myself, for my partner and my daughter . Excellent service . Good cars and very good value for money. Would always use them as after sales service is second to none.

Travelled down to AG Motors to look at a 207, Met by a friendly enough bloke who told me to sit in it while he went to see to a customer. He started the engine and I can only describe the car as rocking like a roller coaster, I guess he was hoping it would warm up before driving. While I rocked back and forth waiting I already knew something was seriously wrong and went to get out of the car, the man came back and convinced me it was like that because the previous owner only used it for short town journeys, which diesel cars are not made for! I humoured him, although being female I'm not exactly stupid! He gets me to drive it and insists I rev the engine telling me when it's warm it runs like a dream.. We get back to the car lot and I told him the car wasn't for me, his reply? Well for just under £2k that's all you can expect to get.. I would never dream of going back down there nor recommend them. Absolute cowboys who saw a female and instantly thought they could rip me off, I mean the car was in such a bad state it must've of been a joke.

Bought a car with 3 months warranty was told i would receive all information in the post. 3 months later and 4 phone calls and 2 visits and i still haven't received anything and keep getting told its on the way. Would stay well clear from this company.

Have had 2 cars that I have purchased from AG Motors. They delivered an excellent and honest service. Keep it up is all I can say. Thanks, James.

excellent no problems

This company was very quick and happy to take my 74yo mums money with promises of repairs that were needed. Even when the car was supposed to have had the faults repaired I still had to take it back because the repair was ' botched ' I repeatedly traveled 30 miles round trip for another problem to be rectified. It ended up I had to source the parts from ebay and get a different garage to fit the parts I suffered rudeness, abuse, intimidation from the father and it ended up in court !! - Great company if you wanted to feel stressed, anxious,intimidated,and given the run around, or was it just because he thought he could get away with it because we were females ? On their company site they only put good reviews up - wonder why !
