Car from A1 Ortos was 35k looked in reasonable condition - taking in to account they low balled me on the px (19k vs 22k we buy any car) so let’s say 38 - I was aware so don’t blame them for that - it was still a good deal very few similar models with air suspension for under 40k. Arrived at garage with my car less than 2 years old (we had agreed terms over internet as I work away) took ages to look it over and my wife had posted the V5 which they say didn’t arrive (I had already before I even say car sent them 16k) so they initially asked for an additional v5 fee of £1000 no way I had already trusted them with 16k without seeing the car I refused and eventually manager came and we agreed 250 which I thought was wholly uneccessary cella vie. The addition of an admin fee is an absolute disgrace and completely irritating buying a 35k car and they say an additions 80 pounds or something which covers valeting (was very poorly done and mats still in boot). The deal also included a years AA membership as well as 3 months guarantee- no documentation has ever been sent despite contacting via WhatsApp (great response when buying the car little afterwards) Took the car to a Porsche dealership to have it checked out - back wheels both had string repairs one tyre at the limit - underneath at the front a bit torn up where the car has scraped pavement - even though A1ortos said they had serviced the car I really did not trust them mainly the admin penny pinching fee if they do this how can you trust them to service - so spent an additional 750 pounds on Porsche service and an additional £1000 for 4 new tyres - Porsche did report car was not in bad condition but have to go back for wheel alignment - so overall the deal was ok as I got what I wanted for a little less than I thought so cannot complain about the prices - but trust goes both ways and the penny pinching admin fee is really really annoying I’ve never had that before especially not when getting a 35k car - would I buy again - probably I went in with my eyes wide open and new I was getting a good deal compared to the othe 2 or three I was looking at - I would not go again as tired as I was last time just flown 12 hours overnight.

My cousin recommended this dealership to me, well priced cars, sports cars, proformance cars. Bought myself a Mercedes, very clean and very trustworthy. It was nice to deal with one person and not the whole dealership. Family love the car, thank you A1Ortos. I’ll definitely be back in the future

Recently purchased a Jaguar XF from A1Ortos, what a pleasant experience. Now before going anywhere to purchase a car, my wife and I will do our research, what’s on the market, different dealerships, customer reviews etc.. now after doing our research, we came across this dealership. Very well priced, high quality cars, and outstanding customer service. From the first phone call, to when they handed over the car, I can’t complement this dealership enough. Avoid if u care about your health time and money they are just banch of ligal robers they smile in your face like everything is okey and then u come back from that trance u will understand what u done big mistake and there no way back do a favour for your self keep away from this company they not honest liers they never do checks on the cars and after u find the fault they gonna tell you it’s probably happen after you drive away
I've bought a car there and on the next car of using it showed many problems. When I took a car to the car service there mechanic told me car had many parts to change and to fix. In A1 Ortos they have convinced me that car is in great condition.

I bought a car in good faith from A1 Ortos in 2018. Within 10 days the car broke down losing power and not working through the gears (automatic). I had to get a taxi home with my newborn. When I went to collect the car later it worked again and A1 said this was probably a "glitch"?! Four days later I had the same issue - I had a passenger who then videoed the fault. This time I managed to get the car home and called the AA but as I'd switched the engine off the fault light had disappeared and the car worked again. So an intermittent fault! With a newborn I couldn't rely on a car with an intermittent fault so under the Consumer Rights Act within 30days of purchase I asked for a refund which A1 declined. I reiterated this via a solicitors letter which was again declined by A1, as they said I would have to prove the fault. Trying to cut a very long story short I took the car (FORD) to a main dealer and paid £80 to have it inspected. I was told that this model of car does wipe its own fault history. I was also told that this car had been fitted with a "suspect" scrap gearbox and was likely to need a new one very soon. I managed to track down the previous owner who told me that she had traded the car in as she had tried to tow a caravan with the car ultimately breaking the gearbox. I also found out the car had gone to auction with this fault. I was advised by FORD to get a full refund as this car was certainly not fit for purpose. A1 initially told me it would cost me £50 to get the car towed back to their garage however after they received the solicitors letter they towed the car at no cost. They had the car for inspection for over a week and despite me having a newborn they did not offer me any alternative. They said they couldn't find a fault therefore denied that there was one. I'm not sure why they think I would put myself at such a cost and inconvenience making this up?! The car clearly had an intermittent fault that I could evidence by video and was unreliable. By this point the situation had cost me time and a significant amount of money and I was told by my solicitor that I could take this further by taking A1 to court but that this would cost me more time and a lot more money. Unfortunately with a newborn baby I dint have any more energy or money to take the issue further. The whole experience had cost me around £4000 not to mention it being very stressful and upsetting. I had to trade the car in at a great loss to me. I would never buy a car from A1 or recommend them to anybody. Their customer service is disgraceful as is the attitude from their MD and their questionable business practice. They aren't registered with the motoring ombudsman which speaks volumes. Stay away from this company.......
This was the first time i have ever dealt with A1 Ortos and i can honestly say it wont be my last. These guys are nothing like the usual dealers ( including main dealers ) there friendly proffessional approach and caring nature put you at ease the minute you walk through there door. I was met by Tony Preist and before he even knew what i was there for asked me and my partner if he could get us a drink once he handed us our coffees he left us to look around. We had travelled 40 miles to look at a Range Rover Evoque they had advertised at this point we asked Tony about the vehicle which he kindly took us to see the car and take it for a test drive. Unlike most sales people Tony showed us every we needed to know about the car and answered all our questioned. Not only was we happy with the car we were also happy with the way Tony and the rest of the Guys looked after us while we were there making our visit there an enjoyable Day out. Me and my partner are now proud owners of an Evoque this garage is a must Visit for any potencial car buyer and a place to visit for a great coffee and a honest way of buying a car. Thank You All for giving me and my partner a pleasant enjoyable way of buying a car, Will definately be back and will definately recommend A1 Ortos to anyone wanting to replace there car...... If I could leave A1 Ortos no Star I would, We visited the place and decided to purchase a Merc from them, We paid twice deposit than what they typically asked for, this was just to make sure we get the car quicker from them. they promised to prep the car in 5 working days, but thats never happened. we never heard of them for about 2 weeks, not even a message, so we decided to chase it up, we heared so many lies, one of the salesman told us the car has a fault which cant be easily fixed, then after few days they said the technicians need more time so the part for the car can be arrived, and gets fixed .the next day the called and said they can not sort the car out and they can not sell it to us. We approched the manager and he was discriminating us and saying that they have more expensive car in their showroom, which have more priority than the car we want to purchase, ( our car price was £7500.00) .this situation took almost a month and they kept £1000.00 deposit from us, for no reason. ALL I CAN SAY IS, there are better KNOWN companies out there for a reason, their price maybe are few hundred pound higher but at least you do not need to deal with lies and descrimination. Unless you purchase a car over 50K, they might treat you diffrently otherwise you will be treated like a garbage. DO NOT FALL INTO THEIR TRAPS. Avoid
