He took my £100 deposit on the assurance that the car was Hpi checked and clear for insurance... upon doing my own checks, I discovered that it was a cat N write off... when confronted, he pretended that he thought he’d put it in the advert. So, I have been dealing with Ahmed at AA Cars Birmingham and I have to say that he was really helpful and supportive of taking the car, a Mercedes CLK320 convertible in blue, which is currently advertised to a garage of my choice to be inspected, very helpful. However, when I ran the cars history I discovered that the car had been an insurance write off and also the mileage was being questioned by DVLA. I am not sure how much the mileage was off but for sure it is not 69K as advertised. Perhaps Ahmed did not know / was not aware, but as the seller and a dealer I think he should have told me. As a result I will not be buying, there are so many nice CLK's out there, why would I buy one with iffy mileage and had been an insurance write off, and paying a premium price into the bargain. The outcome, check the number plate on line and pay the small fee to look at the history of the car, it could save you many hours of heart break and frustration. I don't ultimately blame Ahmed, he seemed like a nice guy, not pushy at all, however, if I had have purchased it clearly it would have been a mistake. Take your time, there are many nice genuine cars for sale, get the right one with the right history and ownership.

Saw car advertised on eBay and rang AA Cars in Birmingham up as requested, there then followed a barrage of calls telling us how honest they were and how good the car was and that we didn't need to have it inspected as it was faultless even though they didn't know how long MOT was or even if it had one. Felt extremely uncomfortable dealing with Ahmed who was evasive and extremely pushy. Car may have been perfect but didn't feel comfortable going to meet these people.

AA Cars Birmingham try to sell £50 scrap cars at full RRP. Tells stories that u have heard before. Got 15 cars in at his house address. I'm ashamed to buy of my fellow Muslim brother. Thinks the world is full of idiots. Very bad salesman & Poor show. Allah bless him.

The webpage of AA Cars Birmingham suggests this is a dealership with business premises, it is not, I do not know where they store the cars they sell, It could just be local housing estates. But if you contact them regarding a particular car, they tell you they will take that car to their home address for you to view, only when pushed, really hard, do they admit it is a private sale. I think this is dishonest, what reason would someone have for misleading potential customers, why not advertise that they run a business from their home address.
