To be clear, the car i bought itself i absolutely love , however the money had spent within weeks of getting it and the following 6 months is over £3,000.00, with at least £2,000.00 more to spend. I'm writing this review whilst my car is in the garage getting fixed, again. There was heavy snow when i bought the car, so when i went to view the car i couldn't see much, not their fault. There was an engine warning light upon test drive, which they said they would fix before collection, they did. Collection Day. Drove the car home to Warrington, the Front Bumper Splitter was hanging off on one side when i got home. This had been glued on, or made to look normal for viewing only, as soon as you drive the car it drops on 1 side (due to no screw). In car entertainment reboots every day whilst driving , literally screen goes off Boot strutts are faulty, you open boot then it drops to nearly closed - i flagged this straight away (Audi cost to fix £1700.00). This was evident they knew about it when doing the video to put on their website, you could see and hear it drop. Interior light down (Roof) hanging down on 1 side , when the did their pre-collection repair , the guy must have forgot to add the clips. I did reach out to them to have them look at the issues , they did offer to take a look but i would need to drop it with them for a few days or week - not very practical given their location. They advertised the car as full service history, and a fresh service before collection - however, they gave no evidence of this, in fact, there was 1 service sheet which was just an Oil Change from 3 months prior. I lost complete trust in this company, and felt by taking it back the work would not be done properly. I got the car serviced myself immediately £499.00 for peach of mind. Audi identified issues immediately : Rear coil spring lower mounts heavily corroded. Both require replacing £644.52 inc vat. They shared a video on Audi Cam showing heavily falling apart (1 month after purchase), and said it would never pass MOT - which is interesting considering the garage put a fresh MOT on it. Oil Specs on top of engine cover, £180 spent on new seals , then another £303.00 spend on new PVC. There was a dent in the rear wheel arch, i would never have seen it with the snow on the day, or night time collection. I love the car, but it has cost me thousands of £££ in my 1st 6 months of owning , with all faults identified within a few weeks of getting it - I only say 6 months as i delayed some of the jobs getting done for financial planning reasons. Car in Audit right and ready for collection , £1,095.68 bill. Luckily I've been able to afford to get the work done, but others would have bailed by now. I was certainly miss sold this car for sure, whether it was intentional , or they just could not be bothered doing proper checks on the car and paperwork i don't know.

We bought a Renault Megane from 'Ace Cars'. The service was very good, We initially had a issue with the 'Stop / Start but were able to resolve this during the warranty period without having to make a 8 hour round trip return journey to get it looked at. Many thanks.
Do not buy a car from this garage .... fooled needed a new engine after 8 months .rude doesn't get out of bed till 10 don't waste your time !!!!

Hi this car was all good and had the full checks done on it before the car went out and all our cars have checks before going out, we can’t be responsible for a car having issues after so long of a period, we are a reputable car showroom and that’s the reason we have repeat customers. I am very sorry about this

It broke down after 6 weeks of purchase. .had multiple problems from day one. A hole in the drivers side footwell (wasn't discovered until purchasing new car mats)been left 3 years playing finance for a car I cannot afford to fix ! My business has been affected. My mental health has been affected ..when purchasing a vehicle its should at least last the life time of the Finance!!!
Very happy with there service, will deffo recommend, drove nearly 3 hours for my car and I'm happy
Very happy with my car I bought couple of months ago from here, so I recommended to one of my family members, went with her to get a car and the service they provided was excellent again, she was happy. Recommend these guys
Had a good experience with them, had a few cars I had seen at the place and went to test drive them, got a nice focus from them at the end, recommend ace cars
I've rarely if ever felt the need to leave a review, particularly for a small business. I had contacted Ace Car Sales regarding a car and said I would travel up and see it from London. The day before they followed up a number of times on the phone insisting I put a £100 deposit on the vehicle even though I was due to travel up less than 24 hours later. The car was simply not as described and not as per the photographs on the advert in my view, and I politely asked if they would return even £50 of my deposit which any honourable, decent person/dealer would have done as this would have gone towards the £140 train cost. I had only paid this deposit 18 hours earlier. The car had been for sale for months, but Sully told me a buyer had come that morning and was willing to buy it, which I completely dispute as nobody else had mentioned this before Sully arrived. When discussing prior to traveling up I was also told (over the phone) they would give me a 1 month garage warranty where 3 months is the mandatory minimum they have to provide by law. I can only speak from my own experience, but I would urge people to avoid Sully's dealership (despite his brother and friend clearly being decent guys). I would personally worry about any follow up should there be any issue with the car. Sully laughed in my face when I suggested they might give me back £50 to contribute towards the train, he was nothing but unprofessional, rude and dismissive. I've never taken this amount of time to write a review, all I can do is urge people to avoid this garage based on my experience. One of the worst interactions and customer service experiences I've ever had with Sully.

Hi we are sorry about all this, but the car was as described and there was nothing wrong with the car at all, you only left the car because of the blue colour, which was all in the description and the pictures and in the video on our website, we have now sent you your £100 back to you but we would not normally do this if the reason for leaving the car is the colour of the car which clearly you can see in the pictures
Spoke to the boss about holding a car, came out of work with the cash to buy it, and when I arrived they were selling it to someone else and I was met with nothing but attitude, shocking customer service.
Usman in response to Avoid at all costs
Hi I am sorry about your experience, but there was abit of a misunderstanding with this one because the sales man thought that the 1st customer was the one that rang to hold the car, so I am sorry about this and apologies. Thank you
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! UNLESS YOUR PREPARED TO SPEND MONEY AFTER THE SALE!!! Bought car 4months ago after a great sales pitch, reassurance that it comes with warranty and that it had just had a full service and m.o.t. After having the car for 3 weeks, it began to stop going into reverse gear without putting it into another gear first.or starting the car with it already in reverse gear. The clutch pedal felt different also. Took car to my regular garage and was told the clutch is on the way out. Contacted Ace Car sale's who said to bring the car back which I did and they drove me to the garage that they use where it was sat in, pedal pressed in and I was told there was no way that clutch would go in the next few years. Was told to get a written report as a 2nd opinion from a clutch specialist of my choice before they will act upon it. I researched and there was only ford themselves that I would be able to obtain this from at a cost of £70 minus V.A.T.. personally I don't see why I should have to foot this bill and I didn't have the money either with it being christmas so I had to just let it go. Then I was travelling back from Carlisle after visiting a dying family member and the car began a loud grinding noise on the back wheel on the motorway, luckily I was nearly home. The following morning i had to miss work as a carer to take the care to my garage who discovered the breaks had ceased on due to having nothing left on the break pads so had to have new calipers, new discs and pads put on both back wheels, costing me £245. Rang Ace again to tell them, got told nothing they can do as its wear and tear, asked how could that happen in the 2 months I had had it? How had it passed its m.o.t? The man was very rude over the phone, had an attitude and told me to ring back when the person that sold me the car is back off holiday but it will be pointless as he will tell me the same. I kept ringing for weeks ( difficult for me with my job hours) and kept getting told he wasn't back yet or he was out of office. He has my contact details and has made no effort to contact me so iv been left to foot the bill and also lost a day's wages!! Luckily no accident was caused as I was traveling with my child also. So a warning if your thinking of buying a car from here, the warranty, service stamp and M.O.T arnt worth the paper they are written on. BEWARE!!
Maintenance from Ace Cars Ltd in response to AVOID!!
Hi I am sorry to hear this but the car was all in good order when we had sold you the car, there was nothing wrong with the clutch and brakes, and we won’t cover the clutch if it has been so long after you have bought the vehicle, if you had a extended warranty with the car then you could have got this covered from the warranty company
I purchased an 8 year old Jaguar XF, which is immaculate in every respect, it has covered 29,000 miles, I couldn’t be happier with my purchase, everything about this car is perfect, the company were a pleasure to deal with in every respect. I would thoroughly recommend this company, they have a vast selection of quality cars at reasonable prices.
