Ace Cars Ltd sold me a car on the basis it was HPI clear, a HPI report carried out 3 hours after purchase revealed it had a discrepancy on the mileage and they were immediately informed with proof. They refused to accept the car back and denied me of my statutory rights. If you are silly enough to go to them, I would suggest you carry out an independent HPI report prior to purchasing the vehicle and don't trust what they say/ write in their adverts.

hi we are sorry about all this problem you have had but the hpi report that had problem on the mileage with was showing the mileage discrepancy on the first 20 days that the car got registered new in 2011 that it was showing 9000 miles it had done in 20 days of car date registration and that would have been a mistake on the report. we also investigated on the mistake on your request which you said. we also gave you the option to bring the car back for a refund minus our administration fee. we buy our vehicles from the main dealers there part exchanges that are always good. we always get a hpi report of the main dealers when we get the vehicles.

Wonderful! I bought a Vauxhall Astra back in June. Up to now I have had no issues with it at all. It was received absolutely spotless and in very good condition. The dealers were really friendly and able to answer any questions. I would recommend them.
