Reserved a car online for the "fully refundable" ?? £99.00 fee, on 8th May, visited dealership which was all fine, very helpful and friendly, but did not buy a car so asked for the £99.00 to be refunded - 24th June 2020 still waiting after several emails and reassurance from the dealer manager my deposit would be returned. Running out of goodwill now guys.......

I had my car in for some work on the brakes, the team were very knowledgable had the issue sorted in about an hour, they were friendly and curtious even offers to make me a coffee, excellent staff at Acorn Mitsubishi.
Had an issue with the heated front screen not working on my Outlander. Booked it into Acorn Mitsubishi, the team were efficient and friendly and fixed the fault no problem. Haven't bought a car from them yet, but good clean site with available parking so all good.
avoid this garage. Unprofessional and uncaring. Find somewhere else. Put a holding deposit down on a second hand car to show I was a serious buyer. Told them I would be driving 50 miles to view it and agreed a date. When I arrived and the gentleman working there went to get the car for me, he found that the battery was flat as the internal light had been left on. These things happen but then he asked me whether I’d come far, implying I would have to come back another time. I explained I had indeed come far. They had no jump leads. In the end I had to suggest he go to a nearby garage to get some jump leads. Eventually car gets started but it is in poor condition. A lots of scratches and scuffs on the outside. The inside is also scuffed, marks all over the ceiling at the back, filthy gum leftovers in removable ashtray sitting in the cup holder. When they opened the bonnet the engine was filthy, full of leaves and dead snails. he stated I should have been informed about the condition of the car and that it should have been cleaner for when I arrived. He even said it should never have been advertised whilst in that condition and would have words with his manager. Basically they had made very little effort to get the car ready for me despite my putting holding deposit down and explaining how far I was coming. he said he would get his manager to call me the next day. He never did. I rang 2 days later asking for a call back. Never got one. The next day I got through to the manager to ask for a refund of my deposit and he asked me to email him my bank details! When I said I wouldn’t he said to tell him and he would write them down. Also not acceptable. In the end I had to tell him he could just refund them onto my card. I then asked whether he was aware of the utter fiasco that my visit had been and he said he was, but made no apology and was totally dismissive of the whole thing. As I said above, please avoid this garage. Unprofessional and uncaring. Find somewhere else.
