I have waited a long time to write this, and firstly let me directly address the brother of the guy whos name starts with a V and ends with ent .. you called me, you verbally abused me, i had to report you to the police (i have a case number) for the threats given and you clearly stated i am getting F all ... well today, as i said to you i would, i got my money back. You sold me a car in May 2023 (VN67 KRU) which needed an engine replaced, you took it away for three months and put a second hand replacement engine in and then one month after i got it back the engine exploded on the motorway. You refused to take it back, you abused me verbally called me all sorts of slurs such as calling me 'a tight scottish b*st*rd' ... the minute you did that you showed exactly what you and your car dealership was about and there was no way i was letting you win. I raised numerous SARS with you, the finance companies and the warranty companies .. this showed exactly what you were trying to do. I contacted Trading Standards and found numerous people that had been affected and raised a case with them .... Trading Standards fined you and upheld my (and others) complaints. I raised a case with the Financial Ombudsman, this too was upheld ... you sir are the concentration of all that is wrong with a car dealership. You lied to me, you cheated me and you verbally abused me and threatened me ... to any potential buyers it is my personal opinion that you have a 50/50 chance of getting a car that is fit for purpose ... if all goes well i am sure it will be fine but if it doesn't they will try every trick in the book to avoid resolving the issue and hold on to your hard earned money. And for anyone that wants to check themselves the registered company name is Affordable Cars (Yorkshire) Ltd you can find all sorts by using your usual search engine. I have been at this for 18 months and i would have carried it on for another 18 ... to anyone who is having issues you have rights, complain to Trading Standards, raise a FOS complaint and make sure you give your own honest review on all the review sites.

Don't purchase a car from here. The 30 day warranty doesn't cover anything and they'll try to pin the blame onto you! Don't get me wrong, Russ who sold me the car was brilliant, really nice guy and very helpful and even stayed late to ensure the payment went through. The issues came the day after I took the car home. I've discovered there are several issues with the car, one being the digital tachometer randomly turning off, a grinding noise on full lock and an air con issue. All of these issues have been raised with Prestige Car Supermarket well within their '30 day warranty' which was one of the selling points for me. Non the less, the car went to a garage that they recommended and was told by them it would have to go to BMW to get fixed as they can't fix the dash. Since I got the car back, communication has been extremely limited until yesterday when I received a call from Paul who is a manager there but I have been told they won't pay for it to go to BMW. He told me that the issues are 'consumables' so aren't covered by their 30 day warranty, it was only a £9k car so what can I expect, the car drives from A to B and that's all it needs to do and now they want to inspect it for crash damage as he's now trying to point the blame on me. The car also still had the previous owners details saved in the computer including his address and phone number so I'm unsure if their 101 point inspection has actually been done to a proper standard. I don't expect the car to be showroom condition and I can understand there being some issues as any car does, the main point is how I've been treated and the un-needed stress it's added to me. Would they treat me the same if it was a £50k car? As I was looking at purchasing a Porsche Taycan from them through my business but won't be any more. Again, the sales part was fab and Russ did a perfect job but the after sales and their "30 day warranty" is not what they sell you it as. Paul has treated me like rubbish and tried to pin all the blame on me. I've now gone through my solicitor to seek advice due to wanting to get the car independently looked at which I'm having to pay for myself which I'm fine with as at the end of the day, it's not about the money, it's the principle of how they treat their customers. The value of the car shouldn't effect this. Not very "prestige".

I recently traveled five hours to view a Mini Cooper Electric (green, registration WB21 NWR) from this dealership after they sent me a video claiming the car was in excellent condition. Before making the trip, I repeatedly asked about the car's condition and was assured it was in good shape and would be polished upon my reservation, which I paid. However, upon inspection, the car was in a disappointing state—completely different from the video they provided. There were scratches all over, the ring above the front headlight was severely damaged, and the driver’s door showed clear signs of a poorly executed repair with mismatched paint. The interior was also in poor condition. When I mentioned their "Price Match Promise" advertised on their website—after finding an identical car with lower mileage priced £699 cheaper—the manager, Vincent, became hostile. He aggressively stated that I either buy the car at their price or leave, refusing to honor their promise or even consider a price adjustment. His response was unprofessional, telling me to "go purchase the other one" and that I was "not welcome" to buy their car. This experience was extremely disappointing. The dealership came across as deceptive and untrustworthy, with apparent attempts to misrepresent the true condition of their cars. I wasted five hours of travel time and incurred additional expenses on train tickets, only to be met with rudeness and false promises. I would advise others to approach this dealership with caution.

Personally it wasn't a good experience buying a relatively new car (in my opinion) customer service was okay responded fairly quick and did what was asked. Just a poor buying experience bad luck in not sure. FX18AOE Skoda Superb buyer beware! Bought the car on the 4th January 2025. Car wasn't valeted or washed. Outside was dirty inside was leaves in the glove box. Carpet was ripped in drivers footwell. Bought these issues up with the salesman but he seemed unbothered that a car he's selling is in a poor state. Definitely not in a state for selling. "Oh really I don't know that's the sales team to sort out" 😐 should have walked away then. But I liked the car alot so thought what the heck. Didn't get offered anything for these issues to begin with. Central locking failed on the first day of purchase resulting in the front passenger door not being locked whatsoever. This was definitely how I bought it but it wasn't fixed. Whether they were aware or not I'm not sure. The dealership agreed to pay the bill as it was still within 30 days. I had to pay diagnosis fee. Which I didn't really understand but whatever paid it. Total for this was £667. Dealer paid for it all. Day 10 of purchase Gear box is now in emergency mode. Skipping odd gears and only driving in even gears. Clutch plate issue mentioned by AA. Again dealership agreed to pay for the repairs. At this point I asked the dealer to pay for the diagnosis (which would be number 2 now) and extend the back to base warranty to reassure myself having 2 major issues less than 10 days of ownership. I also mentioned how I'm in two minds about returning the car under the consumer rights act 2015. Had to take 2 days off for work for these issues as I had no car. Dealer didn't hesitate to ask for the car to be returned. Didn't seem like he wanted to keep a customer happy and agree to, which I consider were fair, proposals. Refund would be subject to inspection of the car, mileage and any damage. I really liked the car to be fair. Didn't want to do this. I wondered how I would take the car back as the gears were skipping. Dealership suggested transporter at my own cost. Which is in their terms, fair enough. Later agreed to let me drive the car back and I would not be held accountable for any further transmission damage. AA breakdown report also suggests a clutch plate on its way out. The symptoms I noticed upon test drive were said this is normal for a Diesel Auto compared to my old Manual Petrol. So another issue from get go but dealership either knew of it or didn't know. Who knows.... Overall it was a disheartening experience buying a car. Priced at 12.5k you would think you would be getting something worth your while. Instead I was faced with stress from the car and loss of pay as I missed work to resolve this issue. If the dealer agreed to my conditions of repair I would have kept the car. Make sure you read and check the service history properly especially with these DSG gear boxes. 40k they need servicing. Not 80k as recommended. To be completely fair I got the full refund. It was just the inconveniences stress that wasn't pleasant at all. The hunt for a car continues...

Was met by a man called James, who showed me the cars. Very chatty and friendly. Arranged a test drive for a few days later, took all my details, said he would do a walk round video, so I could show my wife prior to the test drive. Nothing, no communication part from a generic email about preferences. Have e-mailed and phoned. no surprise he was unable to come to the phone. Thought all these type of dealer had log gone from the industry, seems not Then I read all the reviews on various site, think I dodged a bullet on this one .
Had a problem, various staff promised to take control the staff left then the next guy denied all knowledge, real lack of care and use of your car while in for work. try to fob pre-sale faults to the warranty company knowing they won't cover pre-existing issues. avoid or risk at your peril. I'll never buy a car or recommend these really shocked by just how bad they treat a loyal return customer

When collecting our car and travelling 2 hours to collect it there it was a missing under trays that they should of replaced before collecting and was told on viewing this it would be done we were told that this can be ordered to our local garage and all works would be paid for by them we had to chase the parts several times after being told it would be next day delivery had to wait 2 weeks. The car wasn't cleaned instead either after discovering boogies in the side doors and stains on the material and grease in the middle arm rest we were advised a cheque would be sent to have a valet locally as we didn't want to travel back to get them to do this and were getting this done locally we then paid for this to be done and had to chased the cheque up again after speaking to after sales we were screamed and swore at down the phone and told we were not getting anything even tho we had all this in writing saying this was going to be done, we were passed pillar to post and still nothing had been done and have now been ghosted by the new after sales manager I was told a service had been done but they couldn't actually tell me what had been done and just stamped the log book Don't waste your money with this company as once you have paid the deposit and paid in full they don't give a dame about whats wrong and are full of false promises, they need a lesson in customer services as are just rude and can not follow through and will end up costing you money avoid avoid avoid

Bought a car from these scammers and after 3 weeks of false promises of them fixing the car we’ve been left with no other alternative but to take the car to a main dealer to be repaired
