Couldn't have been happier with the service from Affordable Cars. Recently purchased a Mini from the A64 Branch and fortunately had Carl who was very knowledgable and friendly in helping me decide on what car would be best for me. Very approachable, they were happy for me to make my own decisions and at no point did I feel pressured into making a decision like I have done in other garages. I'd recommend to anybody.

Please don't buy a car from the York branch of Affordable cars........they really are awful people!!! It won't let me comment unless I give them a star......and there's no option of giving them a minus!!! My has broken down twice in 4 months and they have basically washed their hands of me.....not willing to do anything to help, then sending me threatening emails telling me that "I was lucky" I didn't get charged for the transporter that couldn't deliver cars because I had had my broken down car recovered to their garage for them to fix.....that was after only 2 months, which they never repaired and sent me to another garage that has cost me a total of £420 (so far) and it's still not fixed!! I darent drive my car any longer as I'm scared it will breakdown or they will try to blame me for driving the car when there is a problem with it and the only way to identify the problem is to take it to Mini Cooper York, who will charge me an ABSOLUTE fortune and there's no guarantee that I will be able to claim the money back. The warranty they give with the car isn't worth the paper it's printed on and Im now in the process of trying to get my money back from the finance company under the Consumer Credit Act 2015 for supplying me with a car that's not fit for purpose.

Purchased a VW Polo from Affordable Cars. We were taken smoothly and efficiently through this transaction by a very personable young man named Max. We would certainly deal with this company again.

We dealt with Max. The transaction was very straightforward, just how we like it. The car was beautifully details (it smelt brand new). The price was good and Max was very clear about there being no room to haggle. We tried, we failed, we didn't care the car was worth every penny we paid for it. I experienced great service when purchasing my mercedes from Affordable Cars and to date still receive great after service. This is the first time i have purchased from an independent garage and have been pleasantly surprised with the level of service i have experienced. Dealerships should come here to learn how to deal with their customers!!

Purchased a Range Rover evoque from affordable cars last week. This is my 5th car in the last 5 years. Believe me this is the place if you want the ultimate in customer experience. I would recommend this company to anyone. I would take the negative reviews as sour grapes, and unfortunately you can't please everyone! But I've certainly been impressed with the way I've been treated by this company!
