Avoid at all costs. Wanted to have first refusal on a car I'd seen on AutoTrader, told I'd need to pay 'at least £250'. I did this, as SOON as the car was out of their prep centre I went to see it - chipped windscreen not mentioned anywhere! Yawn. Walked away without a fuss, then told I wouldn't be getting my deposit back, and 'see you in court'. Pretty sure this is illegal, now the chore of getting it back!!!

Car purchased, delivered. Arrived with no fuel or coolant. Called dealership, they were desperate for us to take it to a garage to get issues fixed under the warranty. Garage took one look at the now cloudy coolant with a floating oil berg and said send it back. I called dealership to let them know I wasn't happy, that there were issues and that I wanted them to collect. They stated we had to drive car back. This was 50 miles and the garage had advised not to drive. The dealership were adamant we had to drive it back or pay for a transporter. Sales director got on the phone, he was horrendous. Told me that I was lying, why would they sell a dodgy car and implied the £12,200 I paid was pocket change to him. Told me to bring it back and he'd prove there was nothing wrong with it. I was at this point very concerned due to his attitude. He mentioned a SCOTIA report so I said id prefer to get this done prior to cars return so I could prove there were issues prior to purchase. We hadn't driven the car for a single mile other than from collection to the garage where we found issues. Scotia report: Suspected head gasket Heating didnt work No oil level indicator or dip stick No antifreeze in engine and hadn't been for over 1000 miles Considering the fact these cars are checked by AA all of this is very concerning. We paid for a transporter. Car was back on sale the same day. Still registered in my name and im told they won't take it out of my name. I was returned £12,000 and ive not had a single apology. This experience has cost me: £200 - deducted from purchase price, not explanation as to why £60 - initial delivery £200 - Scotia report £1200 - hire cars during the period. Here is the email I received when asking their customer services about this: I am no longer able to deal with this as I am now in a different role here. However, I did share your message with others here and am advised that it is considered that the payment made to you was intended as full and final settlement. The refund cheque has been cashed and no further action is planned by this company. So thats is. Make your own assumptions based on my experience before you buy a car from Affordable Car Supermarket.
Owner is seriously unhinged, he needs sectioning. He sells dodgy cars and then abuses you if you attempt to get a resolution. Major emotional problems, extreme little man syndrome.

Do not trust this company if you a problem with your purchase. Do not buy a SLK from them if it leaks within a few days your stuffed. AA inspected, What a joke
Horrible company, Decided to purchase a vehicle online (big mistake) dealt with a person called Dean. I asked Dean to send me a specification of the vehicle he pointed me to a PDF document on there website when I went to pick up the vehicle the specification was incorrect. Now they are stating the specification given to me is a guideline? And that I should just go on what's stated on Auto trader or website?? When I addressed this with Vincent (the person that was working on a Saturday) he was quite rude and his response was he didn't do the sale so it's not his problem? Also Dean misled me about a £149 fee. he mentioned he would take it off but as I didn't want the warranty he put the fee back on without telling me? I have spoken to the Customer service manager and he thinks this is all acceptable? Don't use this company

I know this review to be absolutely true and accurate, owing to my own experience of this vile dealership

I have spoken to the Customer service manager and he has decided to dismiss all of the above as he feels I don't have any evidence (although I've sent him the specification sheet Dean pointed me too) and even though I told him Dean mislead me about the fee. Overall terrible experience.
Purchased BMW 3 series (20k miles) when I collected Emissions malfunction light was on and passenger lock was malfunctioning. Spoke with customer support who promised to refund me the cost of repair. 3 weeks later and I am still out of pocket, I'm leaving this review now because I spoke with manager who was very rude, told me I need my A** wiping for me and his time is much more valuable than mine and doesn't like to deal with keyboard warriors (he said a lot more too). In short avoid these bullys, better off buying privately as you get nothing but abuse after sales

Whilst car seems ok - please don’t expect your requests to be considered - not even non monetary ones! They just conveniently forget. Will contact you when they are dealing with the sale but thereafter …….forget it. It’s the first company that I’ve ever know give you your vehicle without any fuel…….. I know diesel is expensive but if you’ve just spent 13k you anticipate you should have enough to get to the fuel station - not with these guys in Yorkshire. Have just noticed all these other reviews and think if I’d read them before purchasing I might not have done so!!

Bought a 17 plate Mercedes from Affordable Cars. The car didn’t perform up to spec since it’s purchase and after 6 weeks the engine management light appeared. The DPR filter was 322 full which took a week to fix. Following onto this all the bulbs malfunctioned on the car and the headlights indicators no longer work. Affordable cars have not once acknowledged the faults and have consistently said I need to sort the issue myself. I have received terrible service throughout and wouldn’t recommend this dealership to anybody.

Is this the sort of people you want to buy from? Was sold a car under false pretence. I phoned them being a long distance from the garage, I asked if i could get the car and try it but I was told there was no option for a click and delivery. I was also told that i could only hand the car back if it had a problem. After i put a £500 deposit on the car they send me the T&C which stated that I could have had a 'Click & Deliver' option for £149 which was a refundable deposit which entitled me to try the car and give the car back for any reason. This option was never offered to me which led me into putting a deposit on the car without trying. Summary : Being a long distance buyer, I put deposit on 2:45pm Sunday (they finish at 3:00pm, phoned up 9:00am Mon to ask why wasnt offered the click and delivery, now they saying they did). They have had £500 of my money for 15 minutes of trading, they said they are NOT giving me a refund and when i said I will get in touch with my bank to recover funds they said they would contest it. The car I put a deposit on is back on their website up for sale, and yet they still have my deposit and will not give it back. Is this the sort of people you want to buy from? UPDATE: the Director has just called me this morning to let me know that when i contest the transaction he is going to say that i actually came in to see the car.
