Bought my first car from Alastair Cars in February 2018, nothing but problems since. First the tank was bone dry when I picked it up at 6pm (closing time), it broke down three times In the first week, causing over £100 AA costs, plus £300 at the garage in DARTFORD where the AA took it, new battery, clutch, cables the whole shebang...to find the car hasn't been serviced in years, another £150, the wheels constantly losing air, and the paints peeling off the damn car in big patches!!! AND I paid way over price for it! DO NOT TRUST THESE!

I bought a Nissan Micra from Alastair Cars as a present for my wife and paid £1900 which was prity too much but I wanted to make her happy. To sell us the car they were polite and smiled and said that the car is great but is pure rubish.the car's electricity smart box was gone time before we bought it and rewired like in the village. When the mechanic saw it he said that my wife and child are lucky that the car hasn't burn. I called Alasair and because the car is after the three months warranty they weren't helpful.All the time since we bought it the car was only on high beams and no working low once.The MOT was done the day before we bought it and I belive that they fabricated it,because this car was not able to pass MOT in this state.Today the sixth mechanic who checked the car and laughed at us said that this car doesn't worth even £200 pounds with all of the issue and damage caused to the car.The price for repair will cost us between £800 -£1000.I am so unhappy and angry at Alastair and the way the lie us so brutally that I can't explain it.Time ago when I call him he said that he can send me in his garage and share the bill 50:50 but who they lie..... for this price this old car has to be perfect... I can't believe that I bought a Nissan Micra 2003 for £1900 which demages to the car and repairs will cost me extra £1000. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN AND WILL NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.

Alistair and MO are so fake..sold me a nissan micra who had electrics cables tricked because the electric box was burned they didn't tell me. £1900 a gift for my wife is no a burden for us. Do not trust them, I can assured you the M.O.T was questionable, shame because they sold us a poor car which pass the M.O.T. I bought a VW Golf from Alistair Cars and was ripped off. First I was told that if I wanted to come and look at in a few days I would have to put a deposit of £50 down. I was later told this was non refundable. When I went topics up the car, Mo told me the front tyres had at least 6 months on them and the back tyres had at least a year. They had one of their juniors did new hub caps while I was looking at the inside of the car. The tyres started going flat the next day. I took them to have some air filled in them and again the following day, the tyre went flat. I called them and was told that the air valve must need repairing and it would cost £3! I finally had to call the AA, and the mechanic was shocked at th state of th tyres. The inside of the tyres were almost shredded, he said it was lethal to drive the car in this condition. I had to pay for 2 new front tyres. The MOT on the car was done just 4 months before, there's no way the tyres could have deteriorated so quickly. I think they were swapped at the. Time of sale. I did tell them that I was buying the car for my daughter to practise on, and he said it was one of the best cars with the best engine ever. I still can't believe the number of lies he told, without batting an eyelid!

Bought Peugeot 107 last week based on mixed reviews however must say Alastair Cars was very helpful. I have seen few cars, got to test drive them, all were running well and were soooo clean comparing to other dealers who didn't even let me test drive their cars. Customer service was fantastic I felt like part of family. Guys working there seemed honest. I know it's early days and I have had a car for short time only but will keep you posted. Strongly recommend to others.
