I used their website to order a van hire for the next day. The terms and conditions on the website were clear. I paid the £120 hire charge, and £500 deposite. When I got the location, the proprietor said he'll need "an extra £500 to rent to someone like you". I'm not sure if this was aimed at my gay partner or disabled son. Either way, we left post-haste, obviously.

Very professional. Great rates and friendly service. Vehicle was spotless and everything worked as it should. Paper work was accurate and reassuring. Recommended and would buy from again.
Purchased a vehicle with three months / 1000 miles warranty, less than 300 miles later engine warning light comes on. Contacted Alchemy Car Sales Totnes and have been advised need to recover the vehicle to Paignton and even without a diagnostic check it will not be covered by the warranty. Next steps main dealer for diagnostics and then Trading Standards.
Received excellent service and a they gave me a great price for my old car. Would highly recommend Alchemy Cars.
