I brought a smart car from this cowboy for £2,000. Before I brought the car the cowboy owner was acting friendly, told me the car was perfect and nothing was wrong. I had it delivered to London for an extra cost. I had driven it 2 miles and the car died. I called the owner he told me it’s only the battery. I took it to mechanics they said there is a clutch, electric and battery problems that would cost a lot to fix! And it would not be worth it for the car. The car would not go to reverse and was at high risk of the clutch being completely gone! The advert was also falsely advertised as he said there was only 3 previous owners, when my log book came it said 7! When confronted he said it was done automatically and he had no control over it as it’s “not his business”. When I called the cowboy he told me to drive back to Birmingham from London if I could managed and laughed. He also said the warranty would not cover this. The vehicle reg is YF58YBL. I was lucky enough to sell the car.

I have recently bought beautiful, white Nissan Juke from Aldridge Car Company, I absolutely love it. Phil was very personable, helpful and knowledgeable and genuine. He was also very accommodating and allowed me to collect the car outside business hours. The car was in very good condition, clean and tidy. Dealing with Phil made the experience of buying a car for the first time, stress and hassle free. I would highly recommend buying cars from this dealership. Phil, thank you for all your help and see you again when I am ready to look for my next car :)

We bought an Audi A3 for our daughter about a month ago, she absolutely loves it. Even though she has had a couple of minor problems with it, Phil and crew have been amazing. Every call, (which there have not been many) they have been prompt to attend to any enquiry or concerns immediately, in fact I feel that Phil has gone above and beyond to be ensure that our daughters happiness and (more importantly) safety were an upmost priority. I feel so angry that others, who have simply changed their minds, or obviously have no idea how business works, feels it is okay to ruin small, professional and genuine businesses.

I have dealt with them on a number of occasions and felt them to be nothing but fair and honest in all their dealings Why do people like some of these previous reviewers think it is acceptable to mess car dealers about and then cry like little kids when they suffer the consequences of their actions. You were over 18 when you entered into the contract so fulfill it or shut up and accept the loss you caused. Keep up the good work Phil and the team

I found the staff to be very honest and helpful and the cars are in excellent condition. The person who wrote the review below sounds like an idiot. Surely everyone knows if you leave a deposit on a car and a dealer takes it off sale you can’t have it back if you change your mind. Not the dealers fault this numpty needs a tracker fitting. Get a life pal and stop giving honest dealers a hard time cos you can’t sort yourself out. Aldridge Car Company is a good garage!!!

I asked how many owners the car I was interested has had. The salesman at Aldridge Car Company, Phil couldn't answer. The car was described as immaculate and within 3 days described as pretty good for its age. I then found out it didn't have a tracker (all Range Rovers do - speak to any reputable insurers. They couldn't care less and stated they'd never returned anyone's deposit. The scam is: They ask for the deposit to be paid into their bank and issue a sort code and account number instead of taking a visa or credit card payment. That way the customer cant reverse it - AVOID - AVOID -AVOID

Gavin M what rubbish... Phil and his team work very hard to ensure the best customer service and go above and beyond. I suggest you buy a brand new car rather than previously owned or heres an idea, you shouldn’t have bought the car if you weren’t 100% sure in the first place.

I brought a 2012 Nissan Quashqui n-tec from Phil and Marc at Aldridge Car Company and I highly recommend these 2 guys to be friendly and extremely helpful. There was a choice of 2 Quashqui's and they explained the differences and benefits of each car but gave me the final choice. Thay are not pushy or intimidating like many of the bigger dealers, let you take your time to have a look around and have test drives. I had a basically worthless LR Freelander one which they gave me a brilliant part exchange price for to get the car I was buying down to the price I wanted to pay. Don't read too much into some reviews give them a try and I am sure you will be so well looked after. I did take out the extended warranty for the car but only after it had been explained fully to me by Marc and the choice was left to me without no sales pushiness. Paid deposit by debit card and the balance by Bank Transfer which is the safest and easiest way to pay large amounts of money, I will certainly go back there when I look for a upgrade in the future. Thank you Phil and Marc.

Just purchased my wife's new car from aldridge moters mini cooper. I have to say the service and honest approch from Phil the owner has been fantastic and very professional. Gave a fair price to my part exchange. I can highly recommend both Phil and aldridge motors. Will certainly be back when we are in the market for another top notch car. Mr and Mrs Plant.
