I've always put off buying a car due to not wanting to test drive one with someone in the back. I went to this dealership to test drive the Ford Focus and I couldn't have been put more at ease. Rob was a really down to earth guy who didn't put any pressure on me to buy this car, it sold itself, beautiful drive! I was due to pick it up on the Saturday and so I insured it from that date. I then received a phone call to say Rob wouldn't be in so could I collect it the night before. I tried to change the insurance, but it would've cost me more, so Rob insured it for me for 3 days! Brilliant! I couldn't rate him highly enough!!

Right from the start Sid was very friendly and helpful in the purchase of our Kuga, he made the whole process straight forward and transparent, nothing was too much trouble for him, .My wife and I are so pleased with our kuga . 10 out 10 for Sid.
Amy showed the highest levels of efficiency and professionalism in assisting us with our car purchase. She was friendly and helpful from start to finish and we are so very happy with our new car!

Recently purchased a car from Allen Ford Northampton. Having paid £99 to reserve the car and given a load of patter i waited to hear when the car would be available to view at my local Allen Ford branch. Two weeks went by and I made a chase up call only to be told I’d have to buy the car first. Then the offer of click & collect was withdrawn; the car would have to be delivered to me - at my expense. Delivery took a month! The promised transporter bringing my car turned out to be just a driver delivering a very dirty car. The promised 5-day courtesy insurance had not been arranged. On only my 2nd short journey the car developed a dangerous fault. Waiting 5 hours for breakdown service - promised to be provided by the AA - a tow truck arrived. No diagnostic tests just pulled home after recovery to the local Allen Ford garage was refused. I was told by Northampton it had to be repaired by the branch I bought it from. I decided to return the car - well within the 14 day guarantee - only for the collection to finally take place on the 3rd date I was given having wasted two days waiting in. No regret & no interest from Allen Ford Northampton. When I pointed out I had been mislead, misinformed and lied to I was gaslighted and told I had misunderstood…. Almost everything I had been told was contradicted by their own website but when challenged I was told the website was out of date and was being updated!

Avoid this dealership at all costs. After deciding to buy a 3 year old Fiesta ST line from here, I have come to regret my decision. When the vehicle was finally delivered, it was dirty inside and did not have any owners manual or service record. 3 weeks later after calling and emailing, these have not arrived in the post as promised. They don’t reply to emails or calls most of the time. My last email asked for their Managing Directors details and again nothing. If you have endless time and enjoy being fobbed off then maybe this would be acceptable to you. All the joy from owning my car has been eroded by their appalling lack of service.

Just purchased a new EcoSport and really impressed at how smoothly everything went considering all the Coronavirus restrictions. Very pleased with the service and the car.
Needs car all day for 10 min job. Charges for Courtesy Car. Sorry that's "Renting" a car!!

Promised everything in till gave deposit then sale terms changed when went to collect car I asked if he had put fuel in he said yes paid balance went outside to take car away then he said it will need fuel he said that he forgot typical got your money and don't give a dam
Would give Allen Ford Northampton minus 5 stars if I could, the sales tactics they've used to over sell a car to my retired father are discusting, long story short he was bamboozled into taking out a PCP package ( which he has never had before and didn't want) on a pre built massively overpriced Ford focus, more interested in the 12,000 miles per year PCP than the customers wants on a car, I'd like sat nav my dad said, no James said you don't need that just plug your phone in. My dad's in his late 60s and will never plug his phone in or do 12,000 miles in 3 years let alone 1. Anyway he was rushed into a purchase on a Friday afternoon and rang up to cancel on a Sunday morning. No sorry its too late they said, we rang Ford finance to cancel finance within the 14 days and was told Allen ford wouldn't let him cancel the finance. Not their decision to make. The stress this is causing my father is terrible. One salesman laughed at the situation when my wife rang up on his behalf because he doesn't want to deal with them anymore. With the soliciter and ombudsman at the moment, just hope this gets resolved soon.
