Bought a Honda jazz from Almondo Car Centre and I’m very happy with the car.

WARNING: Don't waste your time and energy visiting Almondo Car Centre. My experience was of extremely poor customer service, unprofessional conduct and disorganized. I phoned and booked an appointment to view and test drive a Honda Jazz with Loretta for the following day. I informed her of the time I would be arriving and she took down my name and mobile number. I made a long journey to get there the following day at the agreed time and spent a fair amount of money on travel as my current car is off the road plus I was so positive about my choice of car and car dealer, that is until I met Ray, Loretta's son. He informed me that the car had already been sold, fair enough, someone had got there before me. However they did not even have the common courtesy to call me and let me know that the car had gone, after all what was the actual point in taking down my name and number??? Ray offered to sell me another Honda Jazz at the same price, my spirits lifted as I'd already transferred the money into my current account certain that I was buying the Honda that day on my debit card. However the mileage was 20,000 miles higher than my first choice Honda which was 70,000. I said the mileage was too high for me so I wasn't interested. Instead of respecting my choice and perhaps showing me some other buying options with my preferred mileage, Ray aggressively said, "Why not?, its only 20,000 miles more." Then condescendingly, "You obviously don't know anything about Honda's." (me being a silly little woman of course.) I calmly told Ray that I'd made a long journey, had just come from work, had spent lots of money to get there and that "I didn't want to be spoken to in a disrespectful, demeaning manner." But instead of honouring my 'little woman' wishes he proceeded to argue aggressively with me sending my stress levels way up high, then stormed off angrily ranting and raving like a hot headed narcissistic teenager with zero empathy and an attitude problem. I was left stranded, bewildered, upset and totally disappointed. But hey, you live and you learn. The day was going quite well until I visited Bullying Almondo Cars. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

After a week Ray the owner did sort out our issue with the white mercedes,he got me a really nice Honda Accord 1.8i ,immaculate inside and out ,drives very well and all the family are very happy with the car and it ticks all the right boxes. I must say that Ray is a really nice fella ,and does try and resolve all issues within the necessary times scales. I will definitely be buying another car from Almonda Cars in future ,simply because he does try and sort things out . I am very happy and glad that we came to a solution,and the car is great.

Brought a white Mercedes car from Ray at Almondo Car Centre who is a reasonable guy but a little hot headed. The was mixing oil with radiator water which after bringing back to Ray he offered to change the radiator and loan me a car or to take it but i needed a larger car and i really liked the Mercedes. I took the car away after being fitted with a new radiator but the problem has come back.I went to visit a local garage before all this hassle and they said before even taking any tools to it ,its the head gasket, Ray seems to come across has a nice guy but if he is purchasing a job lot of cars he needs to inspect them first and if the necessary work needs doing then fix it and charge more .I have called him yesterday and his response was you've had the car for three months its not my problem but what he forgets is that you don't sell cars on to customers knowing full well the head gasket had gone. I have given him until 5.30pm yesterday to call me back and sort this out but he refuses to answer my emails or calls. Another garage owner said after checking the radiator its the head gasket and to fix it your looking at best part of a thousand pounds .Next stop Trading Standards for him.
