So my partner bought a car on 26.09.20 from Ancoats Car Sales Ltd we thought the car was perfect until someone who is a mechanic pointed out one of the doors was a different colour, we hadn’t noticed this as it only shows up major when the sun shines on the door, after closer inspection the back panel has filler in and the back light has a crack on it which is obvious the car has had an accident, after doing our research it is by law under the consumers right act 2015 that you can reject a car within the first 30 days of having it, so we rang @ancoatscarsalesltd to explain this and the “manager” Jamie stated in a rude manner that we would NOT be having a refund for the car nor would they fix it and that we should take him to court otherwise as there’s not a mechanical fault and there is no way he would be giving us our money back, then a couple of days later the “engine management light” occurred on the dash board, my partner then took the car to a independent mechanic to get a dynastic report to see the issue which came back that the (EGR valve) needs replacing which would cost us a lot of money to fix! So of course we rang @ancoatescarsalesltd to state the issue, the manager Jamie told us to bring the car down and he will look at it, so we did he told my partner to go and get himself a drink whilst he took it to his own garage, of course when he brought the car back there was “no faults” and the dynastic report didn’t show any engine management faults even though as you can see below that there was, but as we all know (engine managements faults) don’t just disappear themselves. Since speaking to the motor ombudsman and had legal advise from our solicitor they have advised us that we are well within our rights to reject this car, as we are within our 30 days of purchase. Ancoatscarsalesltd solicitors have advised that they are not part of a ADR scheme which Jamie “the manager” stated over the phone that they was. This company is a disgrace, unprofessional, and SCAMMERS! DO NOT BUY ANY CARS FROM THEM as they will scam you of your hard earned money!!!! Also going to AUTO TRADER!!! Please share!!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS I bought a car from here took it away same day was told to go get cleaned myself send bill and they would pay (the didnt!) Took car to a friend to find out that work needed doing on car would two times more than I paid for said car!!! I contacted them straight away to be fobbed off and told car was sold as seen, Jamie was rude and refusing to take car back and refund, he also told me he was the owner of the dealership (later found out he isnt! So lied again!) I had to threaten legal action before they would do anything.... They sell cars that are NOT road worthy, and dangerous. Please dont buy from them and go through what I had to injure! Bad product, bad after sales, sales staff lie!!!! Beware

I purchased a car from this dealership. The team were helpful and allowed me to go for a test drive unattended due to Covid 19 restrictions. I agreed to purchase the car there and then. The car was washed, and vacuumed. However Engine Bay was dirty and there were leaves and twigs in the bay. . The boot was not cleaned properly. I was told that the car had just been MOT'd and serviced. The MOT was done but no paper work for service. I contacted the garage and have had no reply. Poor after sales service.

I returned to ancoats car sales 3 years after I first went there top set of lads help you with anything you need would recommend to anyone these are a good set of guys

I was introduced to this great company by a friend who had earlier gone there to get a car,I am impressed with the reception I got and the term and conditions they offered .I will always go back there over and over again to get me vehicles and I will always recommend them to others. Keep it up guys. U are the best.

Went to view a car that Ancoats Car Sales advertised as an excellent condition car. The car was totally opposite as described on Autotrader. Please pay attention to the description and compare with the actual car as I believe the cars description is copied and pasted on autotrader. I found out a million faults with car and was advised that they were aware and had planned to fix the faults so there was no need to list them on the cars description. I am a dealer and from the looks off it they use car auctions to buy their vehicles. Please be extra careful when buying from these dodgy lot.

Absolutely disgusting service at Ancoats Car Sales, brother bought a car and when the cars gear box has gone and within warranty time period they have had him recover it to a garage of their choosing which is fine but that was Monday and now 5 days later still not made a decision on whether to fix it or give him his money back. Every time he rings he gets told the owner (Omar) will contact him but nothing. AVOID AT ALL COST.
