These so called friendly car sales men were happy to sell my wife a BMW that had a recall on it for safety reasons knowing she would be using the car with my young son in it. Luckley we pulled out on the deal just before signing the paper work. They knew this and were happy for us to have the inconvenience of sorting this out shortly after buying the car. We knew something was up as were very pushy to get the paper work signed. So did a bit digging on the vehicle to find this out. I would stay clear of this garage

I got the Ford I bought from Appletree Cars delivered to me so I didn't actually spent much time dealing with this dealership. However, everything went smoothly and cant fault the Ford. I recommend.

I purchased a £9000 car from Appletree Cars and within a few months the engine and turbo seized. This was obviously an underlying issue at point of sale. Maz refused to help me or even take my calls. If that is not the actions of a guilty man I don't know what is. I don't know how he sleeps at night knowing he is ripping people off on a regular basis.
Mazir Ali from Appletree Cars Ltd in response to Avoid at all cost
Mrs Hardiman, Thank you for taking the time to review our business, although it is a very unfortunate situation you found yourself in it's not fair to LIE about what went on to make us look bad, of course I will only state the facts as I have nothing to gain by lying about the situation, you purchased a used Mazda from us and it was sold as a particularly good example of this kind of vehicle, with full main dealer service history and good condition all round etc, as with all of our cars we fully serviced and MOT'd the vehicle prior to delivery which showed up no faults and no advisories on its MOT, your car came back to us for minor repair which to list specifically was to replace a squeaking fan belt and adjust the handbrake of course this work was carried out free of charge, after 7 months into your ownership of the vehicle you suffered a major failure in this case the engine seized, you arranged your own local garage to inspect the vehicle and liase with the warranty company, now this is the bit I find difficult to believe, I quote " I contacted Maz from appletree about the car and its warranty to get a torrent of abuse and no sign of any help what so ever. He was quick to tell me it wasn't his problem and he had no intention of helping me" if you remember correctly, I repeatedly stated to your husband Gareth that I will help as best as I can, at no point did I abuse you and at no point did I tell you that it wasn't my problem and I had no intention of helping me - if you read any of our reviews you will see that this is certainly not the case as we are always polite and courteous in the way we deal with our customers. The cause of the failure to your car and I quote from the report sent to me by the Engineering company appointed by the warranty company to inspect your car was 'DRIVEN TO DESTRUCTION' due to a failure of an injector seal and build up of carbon, the engineering company stated it was very unlikely that this fault was not noticeable as you claim, from experience when this kind of fault arises it's very difficult not to notice it, they also noted that this fault WAS NOT PRESENT at time of sale, after this you suggested we pay for a replacement engine at a cost of just over £2,000 not £5,000 which shows you grossly exaggerated your costs, The warranty company rejected your claim as it was found that you caused the failure of your engine due to negligence. Kind Regards Mazir Ali
I bought a Mercedes C Class from Appletree Cars. Engine management light every couple of months since purchase. After a couple of attempts at fixing it, it is now my fault because of my driving style. Appletree Cars literally couldn't care less. Avoid at all costs.

Mazir Ali from Appletree Cars Ltd in response to Awful. Avoid at all costs
Mr Murrell, you took delivery of your Mercedes C Class on the 16th of March 2016, we arranged a good finance deal for you, good part exchange offer and good warranty package, just to confirm that we have NOT refused or failed to repair the vehicle on any occasion, you're vehicle has been in with us on three occasions for DPF related issues, on the occasions the car has been in with us we've successfully regenerated the DPF and has the car back to you in a reasonable timescale, on each occasion we gave you one of our courtesy cars to use free of charge, unfortunately despite you being an Engineer by trade you fail to understand and comprehend what the DPF filter does and how it works, also how best to look after it, we found that the vehicle was not given opportunities to regenerate itself due to short journeys etc, you contacted the finance company to formally reject the vehicle which was denied by them as they agree with our findings, fault due to customers driving style. Kind Regards, Mazir Ali.
I purchased a bmw 7 series in november 2015, After driving all the way from dorset i was less then impressed on the test drive the power steering fluid light came on after it had a service. After 2 weeks of ownership i had to return it, the list of faults is: No satnav, radio did not work properly due to fault with amplifier, tyre pressure monitor failure, parking brake failure, coolant leaking from the alternator and engine management light was constantly on because of misssing electric fan Appletree cars had also not sent off the v5 slip so did not recieve the money back from a whole years tax, I am still left bitter after 4 months! I advise everyone to give this company a wide berth!
Appletree Cars did a grand job, my Mercedes is the best motor I've had in a long time and I couldn't be more chuffed with it. There was a mix up sending off the log book but that's not worth whining about, I'd be more than happy to buy another car off them down the line.
