Extremely good service from Mik and everyone else at Arbury Skoda Leamington Spa. They responded quickly to all my emails and calls. The test drive was a great experience. Unlike some other dealers, they didn't talk constantly during the test drive, nor did they push for a sale or deposit. Also, the dealership is super clean and tidy. The car seems all good and hopefully it will not need a new engine, like the previous car I bought from another garage, who shall not be named. Well recommended.

Terrible service and customer service skills. I took my car to Arbury Leamington Spa for an interim service and explained at time of booking that I would like them to check a fault on my alarm that occasionally sounds for no reason. I was told that normally that is a separate service but they would do a basic check within the interim service. Well 1.5 hours after having the car the interim service is complete @£179.00 - I asked what was flagged up on the alarm fault. “Well Sir that will be £118.00 to investigate that” – funny as according to the Skoda website the interim service includes “Diagnostic check including report” so after complaining, and informing them that I was told they would have a basic look, and that it is meant to have a diagnostic check during the service, I was told by James, and after being talked over and me getting angry, that it is an alarm sensor fault. Great, I assumed it was a sensor fault as that’s why it’s going off unnecessarily! I was also informed that the Air Con wasn’t at full cooling capacity by Cheryl, and that it would need to be serviced. I was surprised as I spent a lot of money the previous year to have it serviced, and so asked that it be done again free of charge as I had had it done 12 months prior. “Oh let me just check that Sir”. Low and behold “we cannot service it again, we will need to charge a further investigation service to check that” – strange as they wanted authorisation to service it at my expense just minutes earlier. Well at this point I am losing all confidence in them as an authorised Skoda dealer. Especially as last year during the full service I was told that the rear washer jet needed cleaning, but I said not to do so at £70 they quoted - as whilst it wasn’t great before going in to Arbury, it was adequate to put liquid on the rear screen. Well it came out not working at all! I should really have complained then, but along with this latest episode, and the fact my car did not come back particularly well cleaned, I will not be returning... Quite comically on the Skoda website it states – “Skoda, servicing with added value!”
