I have bee using Arden BMW for my service requirements.for the last 2 years. Upon my first visit I was a little apprehensive as previous reviews seemed to reflect a poor sales experience. I can honestly say the service staff including technicians were very polite and professional, costs being explained at every level with no hard sell. Above all I felt that my vehicle was in good hands . Thank you to all the staff from the receptionist to the service department for all your help . P jerreat.
I recently part exchanged my 420d for a pre owned 520d M Sport. I mostly dealt with Dominic Clement and a couple of phone calls with Edward Alexander too. I found them both to be very helpful and attentive. As I live some 70+ miles away, I effectively bought the car blind, only seeing a video presentation prepared by Dominic the same morning I enquired about the car. When I came to collect, the car did not disappoint, it was well presented and the handover was smooth and easy.

Bought a car for these guys last week, and have to say what a great service they gave us. With Covid-19 everything was done over the phone and internet, which I was very impressed with. Everything was done on trust. Part ex our m4, they had no idea of the condition etc but took our word on the service history and condition. Edward Alexander was a very helpful person, when it came to me filling in online paper work he was on the end of the phone when I had issues. Would definitely recommend them. From start to finish an easy and friendly experience.
Would not repair a nearly new X5 under warranty and can't explain the fault for why the oil suddenly leaked and needing a new engine. Expected me to pay them to fix it though at £20k. Reported to Motor Ombudsman and OTF, now seeking legal advice. Buy a Mercedes, Audi or VW instead.
AVOID Arden BMW Maidstone at all costs!! 4 hours round trip wasted !! Done the deal via email , paid the deposit. The cost to change was agreed and they promise new MOT and damage free on the car. On the day of collection , no MOT done as they realised only then is not due for couple of months , one of the alloy corroded and the answer was “is not a BMW so is not going to be done to the standards “ On top of all I was shocked to find out that they want extra £1000 as my car is not in showroom condition (?my car is over 13 years old and over 100.000 ) with ab answer as they “try to protect the business “ clearly no interest in customer... and so on.. Worst customer service

I have owned BMW's for many years and purchased a used 330d from a main dealer Arden in Maidstone in Jan 2019. They are only interested in the sale and making a sale. They were dishonest and untruthful about the car and the damage that the car had sustained. Contacted BMW UK as expected there to be some oversight of brand and address the practice of dealership ... wrong!!! They agreed that the sales team were dishonest agreed with complaint but are toothless and powerless in making the dealer address and resolve complaint. Asked me to email dealer director ... pointless. Thankfully my local dealer Barretts of Canterbury is a professional dealer with a higher level of honesty and integrity. I recommend avoid Arden but use Barretts for BMW
