I wasn’t planning to change my car for another year at least, but recently I was contacted by Mercedes Aberdeen by email, asking me if I want to change my car because there is the BIG SALE now. Weeks later I went at the dealership to check what potential car I could buy. I was approached in the parking by a Young guy that never introduced himself; from what I remember from his name tag, his name was starting with “B”. The experience wasn’t great, involved a lot of interrogation, sitting in brand new cars that I told him were out of my budget...not being offered a beverage , not being listened, not being sitted at a table to have a professional discussion. I wasn’t showed the way out... One of my “best” customer experiences ever, as an existing Mercedes client that bought the car from them and spends £500 per year for services and mot’s. I believe in second chances so one week after that I decided to reply to the email thinking that dealing with someone else might be better and my time won’t be waisted, just to realise that I was questioned about my decisions and pretty much “begging “ for a test drive. I am so annoyed that I don’t want to deal again with no one from Mercedes Aberdeen; actually when I will change my car I won’t consider anymore a Mercedes, just for the reason how I was treated as an existing Mercedes customer, not to mention the fact that in November I had my service and 4 weeks later I had my MOT just to realise weeks after that my windscreen liquid was never top up and under my bonnet were a lot of leaves. That makes me doubt the quality of their services provided....

My wife bought an A35 AMG from Arnold Clark Mercedes in Aberdeen recently complete with four year service plan etc. Soon after it rained, car was garaged for 48 hrs. When she went to leave she found park brake seized on. I had to reverse out for her but the engine was at 4000+ rpm before brake broke free. Garage said it was down to metal filings in pads and nothing they could do. This happens every time car is wet. Arnold Clark solution is t park car, turn off engine, push start button again take off park brake! She got a recall message through from Mercedes, called Service department got a date to bring car in (today 12th Nov). Arrived and left car, mentioned brakes again. Got a call to say car was ready. When she got there she was told that they would have to order parts for recall and that nothing had been done to the car. No idea what’s happening in that place but I would definitely recommend steering clear as their service and attitude is terrible. Can’t believe they have any customers going back as we certainly won’t be.

Do you still have car? My daughter bought a 69 plate A35 AMG from them and is currently trying to reject it. They have been a nightmare to deal with. With no one taking ownership of rejection. Been going on over 10 weeks with car being in the garage. Got it back and still same issues persist and then you have to fight for a courtesy car
Purchased Mercedes GLA from Arnold Clark Mercedes in Aberdeen. Took out service plan and warranty packages.Trying to charge £2900 to replace a gasket which costs a few pounds
I bought the A class brand new in 2015 on 4. Year PCP and have now eventually managed to escape them. If your spending anything less than £50,000 on a car they are not interested in you once they have sold you the car. Ive going this poor level of service consistent over the 4 years I’ve been with them. You’re ignored or immediately dropped by staff for customers when someone with a more expensive car comes in - they’re not even subtle about it. Mercedes cars are amazing and I would get one again but not from Arnold Clark Mercedes Aberdeen.
Would like to think Arnold Clark Mercedes staff in Aberdeen are in the same context a very popular lager brand "Probably the best" as the staff and services are second to none.

Purchased my E250 CDI coupe on 22nd July 2016. On 23rd July 2016 I informed Arnold Clark of a serious brake problem. I was told the front discs and pads were 55 percent worn on their inspection before delivery. However when the car was taken in 3000 miles later for investigation, the front discs and pads were 80 percent worn, and discs badly scoured. I feel I was lied to by somebody, and after presenting the problem to the General Manager, I have been left high and dry with no resolution and just on £500 bill. This is not the " Quality Approved Used Car " they claim. I am still waiting for a reply from the General Manager to my e mail sent a couple of weeks ago.
