I've had issues with Arnold Clark in the past, both with Volvo and other brands and stayed away for best part of 10 years due to poor service. I stupidly returned and regret it. Everything is shiny but sadly behind the facade it's the same old service which I'm again unhappy with. The people you get to speak to have a lack knowledge of the brand and are polite but ultimately fairly useless. Your better off at your local. I won't return again ever to Arnold Clark.

My experiences with Arnold Clark have been far from positive but I was thinking about getting a Volvo, they are the Volvo dealership, so I went along for a look. They didn't have a used V60 I could look at but they could get one up from Stirling, if I pay £90. "Uh, no. Do you have any V60 I can test drive first?" That was a problem. They could get one for me but not today. I booked a test drive, turned up, and took it for a drive but there was something badly wrong with it, kangarooing away from every traffic light or junction. I told the salesman and asked him to look at the car and let me know what the issue was. He never got back to me. As Usual. They never call you back. This is not my worst experience with Arnold Clark but I swore it would be my last. Unfortunately the car I bought had a problem and they told me I had to go to Arnold Clark, but that's another story. I don't know anybody who has had a good experience with Arnold Clark.
My son purchased a used Volvo v40 D sport and due to requiring a battery change he needed to enter the radio code. Which we did not have. I telephoned the dealership and spoke to a lovely lady called Louise. This person was extremely courteous, very professional and was very helpful in supplying the necessary code to enable my son to get his car radio up and running again. Thank you very much Louise, you are a credit to the dealership
I had my first service for my car from Arnold Clark Volvo in Aberdeen which was great. Thank you Ozskar Opra being a good professional.
Took my car to Volvo Arnold Clark in Aberdeen for a service. I was advised that the car was fine but my front tyres needed replacement although they were 1.2mm above the legal limit. I was offered 2 tyres for £250 but I declined as I could find a better deal elsewhere. Picked up my car and straight away I started to feel a pull on the steering wheel while driving. I didn’t think much of it since the car was just serviced. After 10 minutes drive, the front passenger tyre was flat. Called Volvo Arnold Clark (Aberdeen) and explained the situation but nobody could assist until the next morning. Got no call from them the next morning and had to chase them. They eventually came to my house and picked up the car to their workshop for examination. They came back saying the tyre has a puncture but no nails were visible... Arnold Clark believe that it’s just a coincidence that my tyre got a puncture and I must have contracted it on the road. I personally think it’s very suspicious. In the end they offered me 2 tyres for £200 as a sign of good gesture. I declined again and I won’t be dealing with them again...
