Took my car a Peugeot 2008 for a service at the arnold clark bishopbriggs (Renault branch) That cost 170 . Prior to this service my car was running excellently and had no issues whatsoever. It just had the service light on (due to it needing a service) . On collection of my car I drove it literally 10 minutes up the road and . Engine light came on - a message came up saying engine fault -then a message came up saying emissions fault car impossible to start in 400 miles. -then my adblue light came on . I took the car back to the garage and they claimed it had nothing to do with service!!! (Although the car was running great prior to it with no issues) I spoke with the branch manager who echoed the same as the front desk of the branch . I have no logged a complaint with their customer service team and I am currently awaiting to hear back . I will never go to an armold clarke ever again , rip of merchants and lack integrity . You have been warned !!!
Took my Dacia Duster to their workshop as there were 3 intermittent warning lights coming on. In all honesty I cannot fault the staff at the front desk as they were nothing but courteous & professional, However for what would have been a simple fix (it turned out there was a wiring issue) they advised that I need a new timing belt & heater plugs along with the intercooler pipe having a small leak, which was somehow originally repaired with glue? It should be noted that my car passed its MOT recently & the garage that I regularly take my car to get checked advised no main issues. All in all total for all this would be £1,500! After informing them I cannot afford this I agreed for the wiring to be rectified in that the warning lights would be off & I would look into the other issues myself. As my car was boked in for 08:00 that day I was advised the wiring job would not take long & I would have my car back in a few hours time, I was eventually called back at 17:45 that evening & requested to pay £235 for the wiring job, as I was out & did not have my cards on my person I had to arrange to collect the vehicle the next morning & when I did I found two engine warning lights were on permanently & it was explained that as I refused the work offered they only fixed the wiring which rectified one of the warning lights. I will be taking my car back tot he garage I go to & have advised them of the outcome from AC. They are very interested to have a look themselves. All in all, a very expensive & prolonged simple wiring job
Bought a Mazda 3 car from this garage, Mr Colin Houston sold the car to us. He was very professional, helpful, courteous throughout the whole procedure and kept us informed of what was happening at every stage of the sale. Would recommend dealing with Colin as he is an excellent salesman.
They had one job and managed to ruin interior, electrics as well as returning the car with original issue even worse that it was when brought in. Still ongoing and being fobbed off, ignored, blanked. Absolute shower of unprofessional people to deal with from start to finish.

First MOT on my 14 plate car booked into Arnold Clark Bishopbriggs at 9am then guess what... Boom you need this you need that 2 new tyres a Diagnosis test £90 phones them up asks what's happening when will it be done it's now 15:25 and still waiting. I've only got myself to blame i should have known better when i seen the Vultures & the guys with the balaclavas on and the receptionist sipping champagne with a big grin that i was about to be mugged big style.

At a dealer, aim to pay between £1,700 and £2,500 At an independent dealer, expect to pay £2,000. From a private seller, aim to pay between £1,350 and £2,050 and expect to pay £1,650. If selling in part exchange, expect to receive £750. This above was from an independent site and guess what this shower of bandits offered me in part exchange. £50 so look a the huge mark up, And I had been about to part with £7,000 for another vehicle. At least the salesman had the grace to look ashamed which is more than I can say for his manager who only really bothered when I asked for my reservation fee back and walked out.
Everything went fine at Arnold Clark, the car is the main thing as it's going great, price wise is was on par with what I'd seen online and the mileage was reasonable. I'm happy to say they gave it a clean as the last thing you want to be doing when you buy a car is to start hoovering it immediately. Overall I'm happy with how it all went.

Not very helpful, passed from pillar to post. My car broke down since I purchased it and I was dealing with a different person each time on the phone. I felt like they were ignoring me but Arnold Clark have agreed to take a look at it so hopefully his issue gets resolved and I will add additional feedback to the review.
