Spent 17 grand on a vehicle that had numerous faults that they have failed to correct

Just read all these reviews and honestly completely regretting buying a car from this dealership. Not even owned the car 2 years and within that time its been in and out of their servicing & repairs garage. Can see there is a clear pattern of vehicles being sold from this garage with faults, issues and problems their staff don't want to take any accountability for. Would highly recommend NOT buying a used car from this dealership or else you get to know their names and what they all look like due to the amount of times your car has to be returned.

Absolutely diabolical service. I spent £36000 and have four totally odd tyres. They are not doing anything about it. Telling me it’s legal if there is 3mm of tread on each. All four tyres have different manufacturer on a £36,000 car.

After my husband and I had decided to purchase a newer car, my neighbour recommended trying Arnold Clark before anywhere else as she had been a customer for many years and had recommended a few people who were all quite happy with them, we took her advise and we are so glad we did! what a wonderful experience from walking onto the forecourt and being met by the salesman David Jackson, we were put at ease, no pressure, and no hounding at all, we were left to browse and when we needed his advice he couldn't be more helpful, I honestly thought we would be searching for a car in at least another dealership or two, but once we saw the many quality cars on offer and not least the most friendliest welcoming salesman we have encountered, it was a breeze, nothing was too much trouble, (and believe me I can be a pain) we chose a car and felt supported with all aspects of the purchase, from the test drive to collecting it to take home, the staff were with us every step of the way, either by email, or telephone, not once did we feel hurried or pushed at all. We will most definitely only use Arnold Clark dealership from now on, and would recommend them (and their brilliant staff) to anyone looking to purchase a new or used car,, without hesitation. Perfect until the moment your money is in their pockets. Had a engine management light they said they would need to do a first line of repair and if that didn’t work do another fix. First line of repair done and engine management light back on. Took it back again they’ve had it 2 days no change or update. Apparently they can not find out what is wrong even though before hand they told me what the 2nd repair would be had it not been solved the first time. Nobody holds any liability for things not getting done there and they just throw any excuse as to why they have not completed their job that they have been paid to do. Beyond poor service I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Left a deposit on a car was meant to get a call on Monday rang day after trying to deliver the car without answering my questions as very flaky on cars history. Very unreliable great till you buy from them. Going to cancel the car purchase and spend my money elsewhere lucky escape

Called in today to look at cars found the one we liked sales assistant Jordan helped us out with all the information even brought it indoors for us to have s proper look at . We decided it was right for use completed the paperwork and piped to get s bite to eat while they valeted the car collected it the same day so happy with the service fast and efficient first class service
