A really uncomfortable experience with an oddly aggressive salesman. We reserved an electric car online and were phoned the night before our visit to say that although it hadn't been publicly advertised, the car had a battery lease on it, which the dealer would be able to do a deal on. They asked if we'd still like to come, to which we said yes. The car was nice to drive, clean etc., and we were genuinely interested in negotiating on it, but the whole process was beyond awkward. As soon as we asked about the price we were told "I phoned you last night and told you about the battery lease so we didn't have to have this conversation" - a phrase he repeated again and again. We asked what the deal on the lease would be and were told he had no idea, that was above his pay grade, he didn't do the advertising, he didn't do the pricing, and we'd have to speak to the manager etc. etc. The manager that wasn't available, so we'd driven a very long way to negotiate on a car they could never have sold us that day, apparently. When we asked about the price of the car itself, we were mockingly laughed at. Is it really the case you can't negotiate on a vehicle these days, especially if the car has been on their forecourt for 3 months? I actually felt I had to diffuse the situation and get the salesman to calm down - the same salesman who didn't get off his chair to shake our hand and say goodbye. Call me old fashioned, but that's a basic courtesy. My dad, who had been quietly listening to the whole thing, left the building saying he'd never, ever heard a salesman be quite so rude and no matter what, we shouldn't buy a car from that dealership, which we won't! Good luck selling a car that isn't accurately advertised, that you don't know the offer on, and that is represented by people not interested in maintaining basic customer relations.
Bought a new car from Inverness Renault this weekend & Efem the salesman made the transaction from start to finish smooth and easy from trading in my old car to picking up my new car. Fantastic service. Extremely knowledgeable, courteous and friendly staff. Our salesman listened to our requirements and assisted us throughout the purchase. The sales manager has an exceptional team at this dealership and it facilitates a warm engaging family atmosphere. I would highly recommend the dealership for anyone looking for their first car or changing cars. The team at this location will certainly look after you. This alone should make this dealership your first choice.

I don't know what else to say other than that Arnold Clark in Invensess were absolutely fantastic. Carol made the whole process of the sale very easy and stress free and Scott who delivered the car was also lovely. They had the car transferred for us which was great. The car was immaculate when I received it. I bought a Seat Altea and I have had no issues with it at all. I would happily recommend this dealership to anyone.

I purchased a Ford Focus back in June. The dealers were really accommodating and very helpful. The car was clean and in good shape and a really good price. Up to now I have had no issues at all. I would fully recommend this dealership.

Stay well clear of this Arnold Clark dealership in Inverness. We purchased a brand new electric car on a hire purchase agreement. Part of the contract included installation of an electric charge point at our home address. Six months on and our charge point has yet to be installed making charging the car quite inconvenient (they can take several hours to charge). Once they have sold you a car, Inverness Renault simply ignore your phone calls. We have taken our complaint to Renault, who are just as useless. Stay clear of both outfits is our advice! The customer service has been utterly hopeless on every level and even though they have not fulfilled their contract, there seems very little we can do about it, other than warn other people.
