I have been looking for a Fiat 500L for my wife, for a long time, most sell very quickly, or are not the right car we like, or high miles, so it's a big thing buying car, it's not like buying pair of shoes, but this sales person spoke to me in a condescending ,patronising,and arongant, manor, This sales person was not the one I was dealing with, he was fine, and professional, this happen yesterday, so on that experience, Would Not buy a wheel Nut from Arnold Clark Motorstore in Leeds.

My daughter bought a car and all seemed good until a part of the grille fell off in August 2018. She only had the car 5/6 months. Tried contacting Arnold Clark Leeds Motorstore to book it in, but nobody returned the call, so went elsewhere. Was informed the car has had an accident of some sort in the past and the grille can be replaced but wont be flush. Contacted AC, who said bring car down to be inspected. They said it is fine, but on the service was given amber warning due to damage. Been back and forth to AC and had car on ramp. Only way to see damage was from underneath and the mechanic pointed out the dent and also told us the car has had a new head lamp fitted by AC before they sold the car. Of course, AC sales team told us no parts have ever been ordered. All it was is lies after lies. Now, they wont even reply anymore. Yes, good when selling but if you have a problem after you bought it, good luck getting anywhere as they just cannot be bothered, once they got your money and their commission. Wont go back there again.

Bought my car from Arnold Clark Leeds Motorstore and as this was my first time getti g a car on finance Joe was excellent very helpful and put me at ease from the first call an asset to the company thanks joe.

Absolutely terrible experience with Arnold Clark Leeds Motorstore! After purchasing my car in June 2018, I am still waiting in March 2019 for some parts that should have been fitted within days to be sorted out. Communication between the Leeds and York branches has been terrible and they both blamed each other for why parts had 'got lost'. Feels like they are very happy to sell you a car, but after that, they simply don't care. Also had an issue where I took the car in after only 3 months with a problem to be told that it needed parts and labour totalling £1,800! I took it to the main dealer for a 2nd opinion and they actually told me that it was simply a problem with a pipe and the work would cost £80. I would never buy a car from Arnold Clark again due to this appalling After sales service.

In fact I have purchased several vehicles from Arnold Clark over the years at Huddersfield and from their Leeds branch. Mahdi was very knowledgeable and very helpful. A large stock of vehicles on site and I was very pleased with my purchase. He was very helpful with all the paperwork and also the vehicle hand over. I am so far very pleased with my new fiesta. I would have no hesitation in recommending Arnold Clark at all. They have always delivered for me and I look forward to going back to them for my next vehicle.

To anyone looking to buy a car from this dealership please carefully consider other options. We purchased a car which exhibited a fault within first hour of ownership. We have had nothing but bully tactics, intimidation and sheer hell they have refused us our right to reject the car under the consumer act. And currently have our money and the car! We are now consulting with trading standards and taking court action. Please consider other dealers.
