Car had a broken clutch when purchased (so much for all the checks they say they do before the car is sold to you) The Service dept lied and said a new clutch had been fitted the 1st time I took it back to be repaired, it hadn't they had just bled the clutch then after weeks of waiting for it to be booked back in they fitted a new clutch and not even a week later the car was not driveable and I had to get it towed back to them. The staff in the service dept are rude and refused to give me paperwork, the mechanics clearly havent got a clue what they're doing and I wouldn't trust anyone in there, which is why I refused the offer of a replacement car. They never have any courtesy cars and have no regard for the hassle and stress that they cause you. I am out of pocket over £800 after they charged me 35p per mile plus insurance charges and taxis back and forth and countless phone calls and emails to customer services, It took nearly 2 weeks to get a refund. I was told part of my refund would be paid by cheque, again just messing me about because I never paid for the car by cheque, but then when I went down there they managed to put the money in my bank the next day. I unfortunately dealt with an awful member of staff called Albana who messed me about and never answered my calls or emails and in my opinion should not be a manager. I never got any apology for the disgusting way I have been treated. I will never deal wth this company again and advise you not to., Only gave 1 star rating as had no choice

Hi, just wanted to say Ross was brilliant, very helpful, pointing out things we had not thought of. He was at tentative to our needs and I would highly recommend Ross to anyone wanting to purchase a vehicle at Arnold Clark. This was the branch at Sefton Street Liverpool.
Purchased a car 2 weeks ago and have had to get the RAC out twice already. My partner is heavily pregnant and could go into labour at any moment and I've been sold a car that picks and chooses when it wants to start. Over a week wait for an available repair at a different dealership and no courtesy car available. Shocking.

We called in on bank holiday Monday, without an appointment on the off chance we could choose our next motability car. We were fitted in quite quickly and were kept informed of how long we would be waiting, about 15 minutes) by some lovely staff , who made us very welcome. There was also an endless supply of tea and coffee. When Tom came to fetch us, he was really friendly and helped us choose our next car quickly, he answered all our questions and made us feel at ease. We left feeling happy that we had made the right choice for us, and our new car was on its way. Thank you again Tom.

I haven't yet purchased my car but not for the want and iniative for trying by sales person Ryan Harding. Ryan is very personable and sincere with a genuine desire to help me find the best car at the best price. Ryan arranged for a video to be made and sent to me of a car I was unfamiliar with. He was patient and understanding when my review of the car itself was less than positive! He remains committed to finding the right car for me and is surely a fabulous example of someone who genuinely wants to ensure great customer service for all those visiting Arnold Clark Liverpool.

Booked 4 weeks in advance, for service and first mot. Courtesy Car also booked,As very much needed for that day. On arrival, was told no courtesy car,Which put all my plans into chaos. Waited 5hrs. Never using that branch again.
