I was greeted by receptionist, then ignored despite there being loads of staff. Ended up walking out, 20k sale lost. A lucky escape for me!

We purchased a vehicle from this store and within 7 months it had 7 major defects one of which affected the braking system and the other which has written off the engine both of which occurred whilst my young family were in the car. The customer services manager is far from helpful and as such a complaint has been lodged with the financial ombudsman and legal proceedings are to begin. He was more interested in what was going on around him and even stated "You know you aren't my only customer". I would suggest you have a mechanic check your vehicle prior to collection as the pre-inspection report is not worth the paper that it is written on and as I have found on several internet forums, are not completed correctly and should not be treated as fact. The only good thing about the store is one of the sales assistant named Paul who was brilliant throughout the process and more than helpful even when his line manager was awful.

Alan herr Wow. What an excellent experience I had with Alan Herr at Arnold Clark Liverpool. From beginning to end he guided me through the whole probs was from choosing the right car that suited me in every way, the right price, the right style and size. Alan was so so helpful without being pushy he let me take my time which was very good. I visited Arnold Clark twice before making my final choice and Alan was on hand both times. He was very friendly and approachable with a big happy smile on his face. I would definitely recommend him to all my family and friends. I couldn’t thank Alan enough.

Went in yesterday to speak to one of the sales advisors tom dyer and have to say the service he has provided is exceptional. We have part exchanged two cars and now have our new car. We will definitely be coming back to Arnold Clark for any future cars. Toms service was second to none thank you. My little girl was spoilt rotten by staff there too she says a big thank you too.
