Shocking experience, just arrived home after a 40 mile wasted return journey for a pre arranged service on my mobility car, which was booked weeks in advance with Arnold Clark with whom I got the car off. Only to be told on arrival, they couldn't do it (even though I had confirmation having check in online), as my car was a SEAT and not a FORD, although I was told my Arnold Clark any dealership could do it, and was booked in by them, CONFIRMATION EMAIL FROM THEM!! Why didn't they warn me? I was told they tried my phone once 2 days earlier, there was no reply..... so that was it, wait until I turn up, no text, no email, absolute joke and no remorse, shocking service, was made to feel it was all my fault, wasted day, time and cost, very, very poor

I put my car into Arnold Clark following a no-fault insurance claim. I was given a hire car which had a blowout. I wasn't allowed to use my own recovery company, which I have of course paid for to cover me in the event of this happening, and instead had to use the company they recommended. The tyre was repaired and I was told at the time there was no charge for this which I was very happy about. I then received a bill for £85, which was frustrating given I was told no charge, however I paid this and assumed that would be the end of it. I then received another bill for £67.20 and then another for £50 as an admin fee, so in total I have now paid over £200 for a tyre on a car I don't even own. I'm extremely upset and disappointed, especially given that I could have had this covered myself but wasn't allowed to use my own company. Steer well clear!
