Had a car 3months ago from day 1 had problems with the car, they fixed the car before i had it with the same issues I had taken it back for to be told by the manager that they didn’t use brand new parts the first time they fixed it . He told me he would look after me for 6months, today I took the car back to Arnold Clark with other issues to be told there isn’t any record of 6 months, got the car for £20,000 with problems and don’t look after the customers
Do not take your car to the service department unless you are prepared to wait months for it to be repaired. My car has currently been there for 3 months with no end in sight. The conflicting information they give you is just unbelievable, my car will be sorted next week, actually it won’t as the part is on back order, the part has been shipped and will be here the following week, actually they made a mistake and the part is in Germany, it will be here in two weeks. In two weeks, the part wasn’t actually made at all and it will be two months. Turns out the part did arrive but now they need another £800 on top of the original £1700 quoted. I cannot stress show shocking their customer service is. By their own admission they don’t answer the phones as there are only two of them working. Avoid at all costs!

My nephew brought a car off these Del Boys. First time it was driven on a motorway they had to be towed home from their holiday. Inspection said the clock had been turned back and they took no responsibility becuase the 6 month warranty was up. Good luck
While the staff were really helpful and we did choose a car, I have to say, I think the whole walking back and forth to the boss while the customers sit at a desk is really cringy. I know this is a tactic that sales people do so it looks like they’re getting you the best deal but it feels very 80s. We all know you could message your boss over the computer or actually we know that you’re prob just laughing at us trying to get more off the price. So just stop it now it’s cringe!
They completely shafted me! They agreed to sell me a van, but it needed some work doing. I told them that I needed it to take my family on holiday in two weeks. “Don’t worry” they said “it’ll be ready in two or three days”. Then it needed more work than they thought, and it would be ready later that week. Then some of the spare parts were going to take a bit longer, but it would be ready next week. Then it required 15 hours of work and couldn’t get into the workshop yet, but it would be ready on Thursday. On Wednesday it would definitely be ready tomorrow, it just needed a valet. Now it is Thursday. “Someone crashed it coming down the ramp from the workshop. It needs panel work, it’s not useable, it will not be ready until next week”. I do not find this believable. More like they had not realised how much work it needed and now they don’t want to sell it to me at a loss. “But I am setting off to Scotland with a family of six, on Sunday. I NEED this van. I have to use it to take my aging mother to hospital for cancer surgery on Monday. You have completely shafted me! I have missed the opportunity to buy other vans in the eleven days I have been waiting for you to do nothing for me. I have not got my old car serviced, because what’s the point when you were only going to give me £550 part exchange? I could hire a van but it would cost me £4000! You have completely shafted me, and you can offer me nothing!” Good luck Arnold Clark. I for one will NEVER again be your customer.

Don't buy a car from these people. They'll act all friendly right until you purchase the car, then if any issues flag you, you'll be waiting hours to someone to answer the phone, weeks for repairs and get told by the Manager of the store that no one is around to deal with your enquiry, call back in two days time!? Best of it was I got premised a car they legally couldn't sell. So why advertise it for sale? Absolute idiots, all of them! These people are the lowest of the low, I've never had such a bad service experience in my life. Place needs to be closed down.
The current covid situation didn't make a difference I felt safe through out the sale of my used vehicle. Very easy and great communication, the member of staff mohammed was excellent and made the whole sale easy

Ibby is the one one to go to !! I brought my car from ibby and at first I was very unsure because I had never spent this much money on a car before and the car I liked was on the Arnold Clark website and it was in Scotland Glasgow and given how far away it was it was not feasible for me to travel that far to view it so I went to my local branch to see if they had one there similar and discussed this with your salesman ibby he was very informative and answered any questions I had. he had the car brought down from Scotland for me to view and was not pushy and explained everything to me I'm so happy with my new car and would recommend Arnold Clark and ibby for those who want to buy a car.
