Terrible terrible Service. MOT'd my car, charged me £144 to do "diagnostics" as engine management light was on. All they did was cancel the engine management light. Passed the cars MOT then told me to bring the car back if the light came back on. It was back on when I went back to the car.... What they are really doing is getting the car through it's MOT. Then getting you to come back later to fix the actual problem when they have time, so you don't take it to another garage. Then they can charge you again for "diagnostics". I Diagnosed the fault with a £20 reader from ebay. Local garage diagnosed the same fault I had found, they fixed it, paid for parts and labour £170... Car still under warranty, that is not worth the paper it is printed on. Offered me 1hrs of free diagnostics. Reminded them I have paid for £144 of diagnostics already and all they did was cancel a light. No reply from their "Customer Service (LOL)" when I said no thanks, and I was reporting to VOSA & Trading Standards. They also send you wee videos regarding the "work" that needs done. But they delete the videos/links, so you can not go back as see what rubbish you were told. IF YOU NEED DIAGNOSTICS, DON'T GO TO ARNOLD SHARK. YOU CAN BORROW MY £20 READER FROM EBAY, FREE OF CHARGE. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

I was looking at trading my old C1, which was in immaculate condition and had just passed its MOT with no issues and had less than 43,000 miles on the clock, for another C1 but slightly more updated. The car buying was quick and everything seemed to go through smoothly and my salesman was great and made sure to find a car that was suitable for my budget. Drove up from Glasgow to Perth and the car seemed immaculate. I drove back home and the drive seemed to be okay which was lucky as I never got offered a test drive for the car so that long, nearly two hour drive, was going to be my test drive. This is where it goes down hill a little, however, after work on Monday (just 48 hours after getting the car) I checked the tyres properly, as it was still daylight and made it easier to see anything and everything. That is when I noticed that the front passenger tyre was worn quite a bit on the outer edge and I also noticed that they were fairly cracked too. I checked all the tyres and many seemed that they were cracking on the outer edge too. Phoned Arnold Clark back and was told that if they were cracked due to age, there was nothing that could be done. Spoke to a private dealer and they said that the tyres were the original tyres when the car came out in 2016 and that the front passenger tyre had only several thousand miles left on them. I understand that tyres can last a while if they are looked after properly, but even with that in mind, nearly six years is still far too long for any tyres to be able to used for and still be passable for the MOT and I do not find it fair to have to replace tyres before the year is out and when the weather is turning for the worse. The tyres would definitely not be suitable for an MOT pass nearly a year down the line whereas my last car, the tyres were brand new and passed both MOTs that I had the car for. I phoned back to the dealership where I got the car and I spoke to Derek, who was a decent help, who asked for me to send over any pictures I had of the car tyre whilst he checked to see any of the documents for the car was available which would state what the tyre tread depth was before it was sold. He phoned me back to tell me that the could not get access but said that if I got four new tyres, he would pay me back for two. I am happy that something has been solved but also not happy that I need to pay an additional £200 for tyres that should have been replaced before the car was sold to me to only get half of that back, especially, as stated previously, the weather is turning and they knew that I was driving nearly 100 miles to get home. it is also making me a bit wary that maybe the car was not properly checked. Cracked tyres should never be left on any car as they will only get worse, regardless of how road legal they truly are.
This is not the first time I’ve purchased from Gary and it won’t be the last !!! Gary is always very professional, polite and knowledgeable. He listens and cares to what his customers needs and requirements are and goes above & beyond to make sure that they get them. Fantastic service and quick turnaround also, I can’t speak highly enough of Gary... he really is one of the best guys to ever deal with !!

Second time l have purchased a car from Arnold Clarke and this was a little special with covid but thanks to some honest and up front videos l bought a car 265 miles from where l live and picked it up 16 miles from my home , good communication and great staff at both sites . Well done AC

Repair required to my husband's motability car which is specially adapted for wheelchair so a lifeline to us. Repair was carried out promptly and efficiently. Tracy kept us informed throughout and organised additional repairs that were required. Staff are friendly and helpful. We are 100% satisfied. Car returned cleaned and repaired in excellent time. Just bought a new car today from this place was up on Monday having a look and got this young man Josh and from the first minute he introduced himself he was amazing I got a test drive he was brilliant at what he was doing considering he is only being doing this job for 3 month the reason I bought the car was him Arnold Clark have a Jem there thank you Josh

We were in Dundee for the Alfred Dunhill Golf and had travelled from Durham. I had just bought my 1yr old Cactus when I message flashed up about a problem with the Emissions system. I rang Citroen Perth and spoke to Tracey who advised us to bring it in. Took it in on Saturday a.m. and the paperwork was ready and waiting. She said it may take 2 hours or so and offered to take us into Perth to kill some time, and said she would pick us up. We decided to stay and watch the rugby on tv. It took less than 1 hour, but it needed a new part which had to be ordered. Returned on Monday and 90 mins later it was ready. They also washed and vacuumed the car, which had a fair bit of grass on it after 4 days on golf courses. Fantastic service from Tracey and Staff at Arnold Clark Citroen in Perth. would certainly use them again. Thanks Guys

I bought a 10year old Honda Jazz in May from Arnold Clark Perth Citroen, the service couldn't have been better if I had bought a brand new car.An issue with a window was fixed although it happened within a couple of days of the warranty expiring Great service ,Many thanks,
I bought a Fiat Punto from here in January. The car has had quite a few issues which have been repaired by the dealership so i'll give them their due for that. The car was clean and in good shape and and the car was reasonably priced but I wouldn't recommend this dealership based on the fact that most of the issues I picked up during the test drive and they should have been resolved before I collected the car.
