Purchased an Astra Turbo nice car- unfortunately in first long drive engine management light appeared on dash, took it to Arnold Clark Stirling they kept car a week they gave me a courtesy car for traveling to work they did lots of tests couldn’t find a fault returned car and warning light came on again this time took it back to Arnold Clark at Seafield where it was purchased from again they put car through every test even sent it to Vauxhall but couldn’t find the fault and light still coming on dashboard so we spoke to Arnold Clark Edinburgh Seafield Motorstore, the agreed to take car back and put dealing with the issue with salesman Rico Singh who worked to find an Astra turbo we would like or refund . Rico Singh found a car better one we are happy with So Rico Singh made a stressful situation good in the end- 2nd purchase from Arnold Clark ad probably will again but we will check as much as we can next time.

We have just purchased or New Car from Arnold Clark Edinburgh Seafield Motorstore and can honestly say we are delighted. The guys who sold us the car was Ross Hunter and he was great from start to finish. We particularly liked his style and attitude and that he wasn't pushy at all. he's answered every question we had and made us feel like he actually cared. I would recommend Ross and would go back to him to buy a car again. Touch wood, we've had new issues yet that we've had to contact them about but so far the experience has been great.

I bought a three year old ex motability car from Arnold Clark Edinburgh Seafield Motorstore. When I got it the handbrake needed adjusting. At the first service it required £780 repairs to the front suspension and tyres. The car had 11600 miles on the clock. On researching we found mileage discrepancies which were explained as human error. This has still not been explained to my satisfaction After the service there was a knocking sound from the front when breaking. This was found by an independent garage to be a loose bolt. This had not been properly tightened at the service. Overall I would not trust their service or that used cars are properly checked before sale.
Terrible dealership, when buying my car they flat out lied about the APR, then years later when selling the car they give you one price online then try and rip you off with the price in person, in the end webuyanycar gave me a much better price. Even the rating on google has been manipulated, all you have to do is look at every 5 star reviewer only have 1 review Under there belt! Buy A car from here at your own risk as they will seem lovely when your buying but as soon as there is a problem the niceness will so disappear . My advise would be to stay clear of Arnold Clark Edinburgh Seafield Motorstore.

Arnold Clark are not even worth 1 star! Worst experience for us dealing with Kevin Clark at the Edinburgh Seafield motorstore! Not only did they sell us a faulty dangerous car they have also scammed us out of our deposit totalling nearly £1100. Ask for a manager and told no managers work in the branch! When we do find out who the manager is still can’t speak with him or get a phone call back! Called at least 5 times to speak with the manger Paul brown and was told he would call us back. A month down the line and still waiting on that phone call. Terrible service and absolutely no aftersales care whatsoever! absoute bunch of liars. Happy to take your money! Kevin told us multiple lies about the figures on the car we purchased. No choice but to take our complaint up with head office and also raised a case with trading standards. Sending our to story to national newspapers! Don’t want anyone else to go through what we have went through. I am actually pregnant and I have never been so stressed in my life with this whole episode and still having to deal with it. PLEASE AVIOD AT ALL COSTS!
Bought a car from Arnold Clark Edinburgh Seafield Motorstore with auto care plan for 2 years spending over £400 pounds extra, when I did it been told would have been included so many item for peace of mind and I had not paid anything in case of problems on my car, but unfortunately was not true! Got a problem with a noise in the engine and hand break, booked for diagnostic been told I would be charged £52??? When I ask about the breaks been told at the desk that would not be included any wear an tear problem which sounds fair, but my car had a problem with the hand break switch, which I don’t think is wear and tear!!??? Any way got my car diagnosed got charged £62 pounds no one told me was £52 plus £10 vat!! Ok just go over this, but the funny thing is that since a took my car back I got my dashboard that looks like a Xmas tree!!! Lots of warning lights and plus the car stereo display went all black. Phone back just after 4 days and they told me they could check my car again an charge me again£52 pound , still no mention plus £10 vat. This looks not that fair and professional for me. Looks like they are just trying to take as much money they could. Eventually I manage to speak with one MANGER his name is Gary Dokerty and I found is attitude very wrong, he sounded very unprofessional an unpleasant just talking over and over no listening at all. At the end I decided to go somewhere else to fix my car and think about my £400 odd pound paid for the auto care scheme throw in the bin. Well I just would suggest don’t get a car in this place. Customer service is equals to ZERO.

My wife and I have today completed the purchase of our new car from Arnold Clark Edinburgh Seafield Motorstore and could not be happier. The car is great but what really stood out was the brilliant, friendly, helpful and really engaging interactions we have enjoyed with Mhairi. She is super professional, patient, resourceful, consultative and really knows her stuff. She answered all our questions over the past few days and made the whole experience so relaxed. From the first meeting with her we knew that we were buying a car from her it was just about getting the right one.

The salesman at Arnold Clark Seafield, the sales person we got lumbered with had the personality of a rock, I've no idea why he's in sales because he's the opposite of what you want when you go to buy a car. We decided to walk away because of his attitude and take our business elsewhere. He literally turned a very easy sale into a no deal, it was amazing.
