If I could give 0 stars I would Arnold Clark sold me a faulty car. I have a document which confirms this. I did a Data Subject Access Request which by law Arnold Clark must send you all the data they hold on you and your car by 30 days. I proved they knowingly sold me a faulty car. They are famous for patching up cars and selling on. Don’t buy a car from them. They get all their cars from auctions. They said they can’t help me anymore. My finance company are happy to reject the car and Arnold Clark are not. They’re cowboys. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I have a consultation with a solicitor this week. There is a law that protects me. Arnold Clark I have reported you to Trading Standards and I will continue my sharing my story. I won’t go away and the more they ignore me, the more it motivates me. I have organized a peaceful demonstration so if I prevent one person buying a car I will be delighted and I will be at your show room telling customers that “Arnold Clark sold me a faulty car”

My car has been in the service dept. since 8am yesterday [Tuesday} morning> It is now 5.30 on Wednesday evening and despite numerous phone calls from me {because the promised calls from the garage didn't happen} I have been unable to get an update on the work in progress. I realise that I am not their only customer and I shall finish this review when I finally get my car back. The type of review will reflect the treatment that I have received so far, and the final outcome
Went to view a particular car with my husband. When we got there, we didn't like it and just wanted to browse alone. We were approached immediately by a salesman. Very pushy! Was following us around all the time when we just wanted left in peace. Tried to leave diplomatically when we didn,t see anything we were interested in buying. Still trying to sell us something we didn't want! Eventually i told him we didn,t see anything we liked and we were going elsewhere, at which point he muttered something then stormed off like a child. Very unprofessional! And rude! Will never go back there. We went to Arnold Clark citroen dealership and were treated very differently! Left alone to browse and within half an hour, had test driven a car we both liked and filled in the paperwork to purchase it. Very different, better salespeople there.
repair I got done cost me £295 and the mechanic said to me it would’ve been covered in warranty, just let you know as you can imagine in the current climate with COVID and being furloughed not to pleased to be paying this, but I had to get it fixed ASAP and couldn’t wait till then, not be back in future. How can you not get booked in for 2-3 weeks when car was not safe to drive which I rely on for being a key worker also dealing with oxygen in this pandemic, for the manager to say I can’t tell you if it’s safe to drive or not, absolute joke that’s why I’m phoning will avoid and not be back service plan and warranty a joke as well, cars been in 5 times for repairs in 10 months, one time it went in and didn’t even get looked at as the part apparently never arrived, picked car up with it still faulty...
Arnold Clark Stirling Vauxhall my Astra up from England and had the cheek to charge me £150 for the pleasure . When I checked the car over the two front tyres seemed to be near the legal limit . When I pointed this out their mechanic told e the tyres were legal so I trusted his advice and bought the car . I then took it to a trusted tyre fitter who told me the tyres were only good for 2-3 weeks , so Arnold Clark Stirling were happy to sell me a car with BARELY LEGAL TYRES . This mob are a bunch of chancers . Today I phoned regarding an intermittant fault where the clutch is sticking . I was told that this may be down to mine and my wife's driving styles and if this was the case I would be charged £75 plus the cost of repairing the car which is still under warranty . I have been driving for 45 years with some of this time as a driving instructor !!!! If you value your time and money I would give this mob a wide berth . I have booked the car into another garage.
This is the 2nd time I have spoken to the service dept in this branch, since buying a car (end of April this year) through another Arnold Clark. Both ladies I have spoken to Lynsey & Frances have given me great customer service, nothing was too much trouble for either of them, and all help given was with a smile. I happily recommend this Arnold Clark Vauxhall branch to anyone looking for friendly service with a smile.

I would not advise my worst enemy to buy a car from this bunch of imbeciles. They're quick enough to take your money however when you have a problem (please note that is when and not if you have a problem) they are somewhat too busy to deal with it, not returning phone calls, providing lame excuses and a complete lack of ownership or customer focus. According to the branch manager, Lewis, his team look at a high volume of cars on a daily basis and are far too busy to inspect cars properly before a sale and cannot be expected to spot everything potentially wrong with a car before they sell it. Really? This is the manager's views?? He seems to think this is an acceptable excuse for any problems that arise once the car has been sold. If that's the managers views then why should you expect anything above a horrific experience when dealing with him or anyone else that works there, he's not exactly setting good foundations making excuses rather than leading by example. This is supposed to be a reputable, trustworthy company - you'd be better off buying a car blind on ebay from some dodgy criminal, you'd get a better car and have less problems trying to sort any after sale issues out. So, if you're still intending to purchase a car from Arnold Calrk Stirling Vauxhall I'd make sure you get someone knowledgable to inspect it fully before you sign any paperwork and ensure you are 200% confident there will be no issues as Arnold Clarks pride in "Treating Customers Fairly" certainly does not apply to their branch in Stirling. It's taken us a week of constant emails and phone calls to the branch and customer services before we actually got anyone to even look at the car, and even then they still managed to mess it all up with poor internal communication. Next time we'll go elsewhere as it's not worth the hassle, and I'll be telling as many people as I can. Arnold Clark - I think you need to revisit your views on customer service and treating customers fairly as the interpretation of this clearly needs clarifying in Stirling
Went to Arnold Clark Stirling and a very nice helpful guy called David Wilson got me the perfect car He also explained everything from the car to the finance so that I understand it. I am so happy with my car I eventually purchased a Renault Captur a terrific car with all the toys love it. I would highly recommend asking for David Wilson as he was so patient and got me exactly what I needed.

When I had issues with my Focus from Arnold Clarke in Stirling, They took an awfully long time to get the issues fixed and I had to really persist to get them to do it. The car was in good condition when I received it and reasonably priced but I wouldn't recommend this dealership based on the aftercare.
