The sales team are very good at their job but the after sales is your worst nightmare. Had the car less than a week engine management light comes on. Booked in for 2 weeks after asked about a courtesy car but none available, explained that I would need the car sorted before a certain time as having to travel back for the school run. Took the car in on the day. Waited 15 minutes to just get the car booked in, while waiting 3 different members of staff topped up the tea area no knowledgement or anything. Waited 3 hours to be fobbed off and told to drive the car for 45 minutes on a long journey ( who has Diesel to drive for 45 minutes unnecessary drive? ) bearing in mind in takes me 45 minutes to get to the branch. as the pollen filter was blocked. I explained that I had recently drove a journey over a hour there and back and hasn't made a difference. To be told they could possibly fix it but would be another 2 hours of waiting. Only to wait another 3 hours and the car still not be fixed. Not a care in the world given on the inconvenience of setting there for practically a whole working day and having to take more time off work to get the problem sorted. The lady of the reception is rude and the manager is no better. Clearly don't care once the sale is made. Best sales experience, worst aftersales not the first time either.

Drove car 2000 miles since I've had it 9 months ago mot fail on ball joint and some advisories .Taken the car to vauxhall to get these done vauxhall done jobs for me returned car back to annold Clark passed the mot but advisories ate the same how can this be when vaxhall sorted out .And all this only doing 2000 miles advisories were brake pads and disc front and back service brake binding and oil leak how

First time getting a car from Arnold Clark and this is the worst experience of my life. Continuously having to call up and try to speak to someone. Most Staff are unhelpful and don't want to help you resolve your problems. I Got Golf GTD which the gearbox went into emergency mood after the drive back from Birmingham (80 miles). The car did this everyday so i returned it due to spending too much money on travelling and expenses going back and forth to the dealership. No Courtesy given been offered a change of vehicle which i’m still struggling to get done 3 weeks later. I know that they don't care about their customers and wouldn't recommend going to Arnold clark west brom. Its just too hard to get simple things done in there. Save yourself the time, headache and loss of money. Never Go Arnold Clark West Brom I Repeat Never Go !!

I bought my car from the West Bromwich branch in 2021. I have had trouble with the car since I purchased it. it started with items missing on the car the lighting in the car not working the night nights not working, the electrics that control my dash cam not working. I wish I had followed my mind when I started to have issues and taken the car back and gone elsewhere. I had my MOT and Service done in April this year they informed me that I had a small leak which requires the gear stick to be removed and the engine checked out. I quired this as I hadn't had the car for a year and hardly drove it. The receptionist gave me a cock and bull story telling me it could have happened last week last month or today. I thought is this woman trying to insult my intelligence. I told her that this was not the case and I believe that they sold me a defective car. I am so angry that I have been treated so poorly by this branch. And to add insult to injury I asked them to email my M.O.T paper and work sheet they claimed needed doing I contacted them 3 times to send each time I was assured that someone would contact me this did not happen I had to drive there before I went to work to get my M.O.T paperwork I was so angry how hard was this for them to send via email. The staff don't seem to care about your concerns especially now I am reaching my full year this July of having this car. They don't return your calls so I am constantly calling them. And when you get through either there in no one in sales to speak to me or they are busy yea right 09.00 on the dot and your already busy. I will not be recommending this Arnold Clark to any of my friends. I could go on about how I have been treated but I need to keep my stress down. Stay away from them they are no good. Jokas

Me and my partner brought a car from Arnold Clark Westbrom, back in 2020 and made sure we had two years warranty- it’s lucky we did! Only a few months after having the car we have to send it back to Arnold Clark due to electrical faults. Unfortunately the car broke down again last week but now the car is completely underivable. Since the car has been back with Arnold Clark they have been nothing but unhelpful. The service manager Ian Higgins told us the car wouldn’t be looked at for atleast a week because of staff shortage and they couldn’t help us with a courtesy car because they don’t have any. To which I cried, I explained I would be unable to work, I would have loss of earning, I wouldn’t able to drive our 18month daughter around and I’m pregnant, which his response was ‘that’s not his problem’. Surly they should able to help if they can’t even tell me if the car is fixable for another week? Still now I haven’t had an update and the car has been with themselves since Saturday 2nd and every time we phone they can’t tell us anything new. I’ve never felt so stressed and overwhelmed, I’m so disappointed. We chose Arnold Clark because they are a popular brand and we were assured we would be looked after- clearly not. I advise anyone to stay clear- they’ve taken away what’s suppose to be a happy time of my life enjoying a pregnancy and fuelled it will stress and frustration instead.

From start to finish this branch lied, never called back, receptionists were abrupt and rude . Salesman Luke hipkiss sold me a van which he never updated on, I had to call for 6 weeks , being promised a call back each time. Fair enough it had a recall but after that , windscreen repair was apparently done, then it needed replaced, then it went to Stoke and sat for days, bearing in mind this was an emergency foodbank van and they knew this, they did absoloutely nothing to get it to me in scotland. Repeatedly told conflicting information and lies. Glad to never ever deal with them again if my life depended on it. Eventually my van arrived in scotland, no full tank of fuel as promised, Thankyou Luke! But a lovely guy called Justin took over in Linwood click and collect and turned my nightmare into the usual but even better arnold clark experience, after nine cars I know how they work. Justin and his team has the best customer care, really really helpful and the communication was fantastic, so the short of it is….West Bromwich you are hopeless, helpless and treat your customers very very badly, I’d be ashamed to be part of this team! Maybe bunch would be a better description as team doesn’t seem to come into it other than covering each other’s backs when they need to make excuses. You should take a look at linwood and other branches, might give you a clue how to look after loyal people spending a lot of money. Never ever again!
