BUNCH OF FRAUDS, NEVER GO. ALL POSTIVE REVIEWS ARE PAID ONES. I have come across an advertisement on autotrader for a Mini car with the registration number YH15UUF. The car is being sold by Arthur Stanley Limited car dealers in Sheffield for £8480. In the advertisement, they have mentioned that the car can be reserved to ensure that the advertisement is taken down. They have also offered a home delivery option. I contacted Paul from Arthur Stanley and he explained the details of the car. On Thursday, 25th April 2024, he took a deposit of £250 from my account and issued an invoice. He agreed to deliver the car on 26th April 2024, after I paid half of the purchase money. However, after taking the deposit, he informed me that the delivery man had called in sick and that the car would be delivered on Monday. Subsequently, I went through the reviews and noticed some negative feedback about Paul, stating that he cheats people. I sent a WhatsApp message to their out-of-hours number, addressed to Paul, and shared my concerns. I also mentioned that I had faced some issues with another car that I had dealt with legally. Paul replied that they had a 4.7 rating and that they would handle everything professionally. I informed him that I would send the money soon, and he asked me to send the money on Monday to arrange for delivery. However, I couldn't transfer the money on Monday, and when I informed him of the same, he said that he would wait for the first payment before arranging delivery. I sent £4000 from my wife's account and requested him to deliver the car. Suddenly, he stopped responding to my messages, calls, and emails. I decided to cancel the purchase as I suspected that they were not genuine. On 1st May 2024, I sent a message to Paul, informing him that I was cancelling the purchase and requesting a refund of the money. However, he replied that I hadn't paid the money within 48 hours and that I had mentioned managing the issue legally the last time we spoke. He said that I should search for a new car and wished me good luck. I asked him to refund my £4250, and he replied that he was off and that no one in the company could send the money to my account. He also said that he would be back on Friday to transfer the amount. However, I have been trying to contact them through messages and emails since morning, but there has been no response. This situation has put me in a difficult financial position, and I am feeling very depressed about it. All negative reviewers, please report your incidents to Met police action Fraud and insolvency services. Once they received many complaints, we all get legal protection. NEVER EVER LEAVE THESE FRAUDS.

I recently purchased a car for £11,000 from this garage at the end of September. Shortly after bringing it home, I noticed an oil leak. Despite the difficulty in scheduling a repair due to the unavailability of a courtesy car, the vehicle was eventually taken in for repair. I was informed it was fixed, but the issue persisted immediately after I brought it home, with oil leaking onto my freshly jet-washed drive. Attempts to resolve this through the garage proved challenging due to the same issue with courtesy cars, leading me to seek repair at a local trusted garage. The repair, worn Rocker Cover Gasket and broken Rocker Cover was necessary and should be covered under the 30-day warranty. Despite contacting the garage and providing the necessary invoice for reimbursement, I have yet to receive a response, let alone the reimbursement itself. This experience has been frustrating and disappointing, highlighting a lack of customer service and post-purchase support. I had hoped for a more straightforward and understanding process, especially considering the circumstances were clearly noted straight after purchase of the car. Regrettably, unless this matter is resolved promptly, I will have to consider further action.

Before purchasing my car on 4th March this year and travelling from Kedington to Sheffield to collect my dream car, all was very good. Having travelled 150 mile to collect her, I was a tad disappointed as I was paying top dollar Dealership price. Some bodywork niggles I ironed out with the salesman. Gut feel at the time was to drive home in my own car and breath. Heart ruled head and I traded in my car and drove back the 150 miles with my purchase. Experiencing a couple of issues, exhaust tips falling off & brake pads needing renewing I put down to wear and tear and never troubled the dealer. Now within 3 months of purchase I have a totally U/S car, Serviced & fit for purpose sadly she is not! I hope to be able to report a +ve experience as many have here. It seems to be 5 or 1 Star! I await Paul's investigation and hope to be able to return the car for a refund 🤞🤞👍 BRB Stars on experience to date
I had been looking for a Porsche Macan for a few months, trying to get the specification that I wanted, I saw one very similar at Arthur Stanley Cars but initially moved on due to the distance......well after continuing my search without success I contacted Paul & Dean at Arthur Stanley Cars. What a delight to deal with, they provided all the information that I wanted and did not try to "sell" the car to me. I raised my concern about the distance involved and they dealt with this on both a professional and personal basis to put my mind at ease. The car was delivered and I am delighted that I chose to deal with the team at Arthur Stanley Cars, Dean really did a great job for me and I would have no hesitation in recommending them. This is the first time I have bought a car unseen, I was initially a little nervous but after this experience would not hesitate to do it again through Arthur Stanley Cars. Thank you very much, I have my dream car.

The wheel sheared all 5 bolt on my BMW X1 after 6 weeks of buying the car. The garage weren't interested. Rude salesmen. Currently in the process of claiming money back.

Wish i read Arthur Stanley Limited reviews before I bought a car from them. Don't make the same mistake as me. Never felt inclined to right a review till now. Car had braking issues, within a few days after purchase. I had a nationwide garage confirm this to me and advised me what needed to be done to fix it. They said the car shouldn't have been sold to me like this. When I spoke to Arthur Stanley about my issues and wanting to give the vehicle back 6 days later, they were patronising, dismissive and rude. Also was told they could supply me with the vehicles service history prior to sale but I've still not got this a week later. If you want to regret buying a car, buy it from these guys.

Purchased an Audi A3 from Arthur Stanley - dealt with Paul, a real professional. Car was as described and drives a dream. Very helpful when transferring my personal plate. Gave a reasonable price for my part exchange. Highly recommended.

Just had my car delivered today amazing service very friendly staff the delivery driver was brilliant would recommend to anyone 10/10
I came to view a car and Paul seemed very friendly at first. I really like the look of the car and really wanted to buy It but once back from my test drive there was major faults with the car. When asked if everything would be fixed I was told if MOT passes it how it is then no lol. What a load of crap. The car had also been resprayed and probably repaired from damages but when I asked he just lied to my face and I can tell because he went quiet after I asked and not to mention I work for a car bodyshop. Paul clearly lied to my face and for that reason I did not want to go any further But I thought I’d give him a chance and when I was in his office to look at paper work which was just a log book and hpi report even though it advertised service history and no service history was there or shown to me he turn around and said he doesn’t want to sell the car to me as I’m too picky which really pissed me off as a customer I have preferences and I’m spending a lot of money on a car that has major faults. If you wanna spend your money on bs cars then this is your place otherwise stay well clear from this liar.
