I am a busy Mum with two children. We purchased a car from Arthur Stanley in February. The sales side was fine, Dean was friendly etc. In April the car broke own with a massive fault. We contacted Dean at Arthur Stanley who was sympathetic but offered no help. Our mechanic advised us about the Consumer Rights Act 2015, so we contacted Arthur Stanley again, now knowing our rights. We asked for it to be fixed or refund. They stopped returning calls or communicating with us. They got a solicitor who called us out of the blue with no introduction. After 2 weeks we got a letter saying we hadn't even given Arthur Stanley a chance to look at the car. (They hadn't asked to) So the next day, at a cost to ourselves, we got the car to them. Paul took my husband into a office and was verbally intimidating to him. Horrible customer service and a way to treat another person. They have now had the car 6 weeks. They don't respond to communication and we have no idea what they are doing. Its been a terrible time for us, We can't believe people would treat customers this way. We have had to send a 'Final Letter before Claim' with a deadline and they still haven't responded. So it looks like we will have to begin proceedings. A really disappointing experience of horrible customer service. I'll only ever buy from a main dealer in the future.

It is rare that you come across a trade service that is so professional and customer orientated. Bizarrely, I discovered my VW Touran whilst holidaying in Turkey. I managed to exchange some messages with the amazing Dean and received some additional photos. I was reassured enough to place a deposit. Even though I had another week before I could collect (and properly inspect) the vehicle, everything during that week only reaffirmed I had made the right decision. Constant updates and courtesy calls were lovely touches. I was met with a superb VW example that I have been delighted with ever since. The follow up postage of the additional key, and sharing of HPI paperwork demonstrated that Arthur Stanley really care about what they do, and ensure they provide customers with nothing but a satisfying experience. I have been glowing about them to friends and family, and it is only right I echo those sentiments on Car Dealer Reviews. Arthur Stanley were a true joy to deal with - thorough, reassuring and very friendly.
i purchased a nissan 3 weeks ago after Arthur Stanley had told me their mechanic had supposed to have checked the car before it was sold, After collecting the car and driving home i was overwhelmed with a very strong smell coming from the vents in the car I contacted dean and told him i was going to take the car to my local garage to get it checked over,of which i did turned out i needed a motor fan and resistor.(only available from nissan dealer).i contacted the company again and spoke to paul who fed me a pack of lies,i..i later found a used one on ebay and i posted my review on here and received a text from dean telling me that he would reinburst my purchase if i remove my negative review,,please bet careful when buying from this company..if your after a reliable car ,please look somewhere else..One star is far too generous. Extremely disappointed

Excellent service from some very friendly gentlemen at Arthur Stanley. I recently bought a nissan qashqia from them in January. Car was in a lot better condition then i expected and had some really good features for the money. There was no pressure for a sale and i was just left to look around the car and then take it for a test drive. The car has even been for a health check as part of a warranty i took out and its all come back saying its in perfect condition. The pricess for purchasing the car was fast and easy. The only thing i wish i had done was notice that the two rear tyres had cracks all in them so i had to replace them straight away. If i had noticed this before i may have tried bargaining with them. This is not down to them though as its really consumables. Overall ome very happy customer and i am more then happy to purchase from them in the future and i highly recommend them to everyone. Pay them a visit what have you got to lose

After making a phone call to Dean at Arthur Stanley to view a Volvo C30 I called in and met him and he showed me round the car and said take it for a drive. I expected him to get in the car with me but he said you take it and see how it feels I did and it felt grate. The way Dean presented himself was very professional and courteous we sorted the deal out and the car was delivered to me today 31/10/18 I will no hesitation in recommending Arthur Stanley cars to my friend and when I am ready for another car I will be going back to see Dean. Travelled 200 miles to collect my new car from Arthur Stanley and was exactly as described ..... if not better. Vehicle drove perfect all the way home, had a slight issue after 2 weeks, called them as my supplying dealer and the acted quickly and swiftly to rectify the issue. 5* boys, well done Dean and Paul exceeding my expectations in the sale and after sales !!!!

Paul and Dean from Arthur Stanley completely stitched me up to the tune of £1800 for a pre existing fault they knew was there. Fed me a pack of lies to convince me to travel for 4 hours to collect vehicle. DO NOT TRUST THEM, AND DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. Completely awful experience.

I have had my Jaguar for a while now and so far I have had no issues with it at all. When I went to collect the car it was nice and clean and matched Arthur Stanley's description on AutoTrader perfectly. The dealers were pleasant and the car was a very good price. I would happy recommend.

I purchased a Vauxhall Astra from here last year and I am really pleased with it. It was immaculate when I received it and I have had it for 6 months and had no problems with it at all. The dealers were helpful and friendly and I would happily recommend them.
