Arrived and had to search for a sales person. Did not know what stock he had. Instantly stereotyped us due to what we were wearing. Assumed we were not able to afford the vehicle. Did not assist us in any way and was rude and patronizing. Will not buy from here ever!

If the review you posted was a genuine encounter, then I am just as upset and disappointed as you are. I want to speak to you about your visit and understand who was rude and unhelpful, as this behaviour has no place in Ashridge Vehicles. On another note, I can assure you that as a business, we focus on customers' buying experience and aftersales, as this is key to a business's success and growth, so I was surprised to hear that such behaviour took place in the first instance. Luigi, Clearly, as you haven’t contacted me directly, after having emailed you directly. Your reply was purely intended to mitigate the negative review and not as you suggested a real concern. It appears that several others have had similar rude, condescending and dismissive encounters with sales staff at your dealership. My genuine review was intended to highlight the inappropriate behaviour and to warn potential customers. I will certainly not be visiting your showroom again.

Recently bought a used Mini from Ashridge Vehicles, I found the whole experience faultless. Responded to emails and calls quickly, straight with facts, no hard sell. All my options clearly explained and laid out for me to decide. High quality photographs of the vehicle on their website, when I visited to see it on the forecourt, it was exactly as expected. Chris was my main man dealing with the sale, but everyone I spoke to over the phone when he was on holiday were great and knew what was going on with the progress of my purchase. When I am next looking for a car, i'd use them again 100%.

Car brokedown few weeks after toke it of the dealership. It took me 3 months of constant complaints to get this dealership to accept the responsibility of repairing the car. Even the finance company got involved and had to obligate them to repair the car! After getting the car back, it didn't work as expected, with several oil leaks and performance issues. They never admit their accountability to the point that they claimed behind my back to my warranty to cover part of the expenses for the repair! Why am I writing this review almost a year later? I'm discovering more irregulaties misselling finance and insurance products that I have to fix directly with the insurance/finance company. There is no way to file a formal claim and stop them from behaving like this. Shady business with very od practices, avoid!!!

Dear Anonymous, Im sorry to hear that you are having issues with your car, however you haven’t left your name or any clues as to who you are thus we are going to struggle to help you. However, I want to assure you that we have not had any correspondence with a finance company regarding an issue that we wouldn't be willing to resolve. We are a FCA-regulated company that protects against any irregularities. Additionally, we have well-documented policies, so I don't see how mis-selling could be an issue. If you believe there has been any wrongdoing, I suggest using the proper channels to voice your concerns and contact us directly. If there has been any mistake on our part, we would be happy to refund you, as it’s the right thing to do but leaving 1 star reviews across the board is a slight exaggeration to your concerns.

They have no interest in doing business over the internet. You have to go to their showroomn if you want to buy a car. Ridiculous in this day and age. They will soon fail as a business.

Dear David, we're sorry we couldn't accommodate your wishes of a purchase without seeing the car in person. The vast majority of people do however prefer to see and test a car before they buy, these are the customers we sell too. You may want to try CAZOO? Without buying a car or even visiting us, i'm not sure how you can rate us 1 star for cleanliness or after sales service though?
