From the get go we was off to a bad start, the owner of ASM Performance was very rude over the phone. I called to arrange a time the same day to view the car, which according to the owner was "short notice" as he wants to go do things with his family. Understandable as it was a Sunday. As I was trying to work out my schedule to when I could book to get down, I'm met with the abrupt response of "Just say a time and hurry mate". I wish I’d have shut down dealing with the company at this point, however I the car was the exact specification I desired and are few and far between finding another. I sucked in my pride and made the travel a 2 hour journey only to be totally disappointed with what I saw. The car I came to view was in such a state, not very well kept or looked after by the owner. The photos posted on auto trader wasn’t the same as the vehicle in person, the antenna was ripped off the car, striped faded and arm rest destroyed (all of which was present and in good condition in the photos online). Prior to making this journey I asked the owner if there was any notable damage I should look out for. Response was “Nothing really, It’s in great condition for its age”. Absolute rubbish. He even proposed “oh I can contact the manufacturer and get a price on it” blah blah. If you want to sell the car, make the effort prior to having people view it, don’t lie. No effort was put into even trying to make the sale, seemed totally disinterested and the car had cobwebs and muck all over it, wasn’t much different from any other cars he’d had laying around, looked as though water was sparse and a rag allergy was present with this trader. No clue how the place stays in business. Besides this, I was impressed with the amount of cars the owner seemed to have, doing business from home it seemed. All of which appeared to have the same valeting allergy as the car I viewed. Wouldn’t touch the place with a barge pole.

Went to look at a car, caught the train, they picked me up from the station. I brought the car which is immaculate and drives like a dream. Can't fault there service and price. I was really impressed, this dealer ship is a Gem. A big thank you ti the ASM team.

Part exchanged my car with ASM and received first class service through out. Will definitely deal with them again! Friendly , trustworthy and efficient Thankyou !!!

I don't usually leave reviews nor have my car serviced from dealerships. However, given the age of my car I chose to have a cheaper service from a local dealer. After some research, I chose ASM Automotive for a full engine service with filter change etc. The service was effortless. They collected my car, dropped it off with a complimentary clean and with the service book stamped. The price was competitive too... cheaper than Halfords.

ASM Automotive is not even worth one star. Rang at 1.35pm in order to enquire about a vehicle on their website. Amo answered the telephone, said that he was busy and would call me back in 5-10 minutes. Two and a half hours later, no call back, so I rang again. Once more Amo answered the telephone. Asked what happened to my call back, to which his response was "It's a car, not a kidney!" I asked to speak to somebody else in the company as I didn't like his attitude and lack of manners. He told me that he is the owner, and I deal with him or deal with no one. I put the phone down in disgust/

I purchased a discovery 3 from ASM this week and could not be happier with the service. After viewing the car during the week the guys had the car serviced, valeted and MOT’d and delivered it to my door on the weekend. I will definitely return for my next vehicle.

I purchased an excellent BMW 6 series through ASM and the sales guys provided a great depth of knowledge and the car has been spot on.

I purchased a merc glc from them in October. I found the guys extremely helpful, they explained everything in detail about the car, it was very tidy and a great price. there was no pushy salesman, just very informative and professional. A pleasure to deal with and would strongly recommend ASM Automotive to others.

This is a warning to anyone thinking of buying a car from these guys...dont you will regret it! I had a very bad experience with them and would not recommend buying from here.
